El Edgewater Dive & Spa Resort se encuentra en una cala de Puerto Galera, a 1,6 km de la playa de Sabang, y ofrece pileta al aire libre, restaurante con vistas a la bahía de Mangrove y spa. We stayed four nights at Edgewater. We enjoyed it a lot, it's a small hotel on a very beautiful bay. First, the rooms are nice and clean, with a very comfy bed and a nice shower. Then, you can go diving on different times of the day, for example at 9 or 10 or also in the afternoon. They are very flexible and the dive masters are very nice, christian the boat driver is the best, very funny guys. The dive sites are very close by. The best thing of the hotel is the owner and his staff. They treat you like friends. We liked everything and would recommend to anyone who wants to visit sabang. Thanks for everything

We have been traveling around Southeast Asia for about five months now, visiting 6 or7 countries, and we’ve realized that it’s not the nature, food, or history that stays with you the most, but it’s the people. Our first week in the Philippines, while staying in Manila, wasn’t the best experience. But everything changed once we arrived on Mindoro Island, and especially when we stayed at Macrina’s place. Macrina and Ligh are two of the kindest, most welcoming people we’ve met on our journey. Every morning we had a different breakfast, and it genuinely made us excited to wake up. Almost every night they invited us to join their “family dinner,” completely free, and the vibe felt exactly like that -warm, homely, and full of care. The food was the best we’ve had in the Philippines, and the way they treated us made us feel not just like guests, but like long-time friends. We’re already looking forward to coming back and visiting Macrina and Ligh again. If you want a place with real heart, this is it.

El Sablayan Paraiso Beach Resort está situado en Sablayan, a 800 metros de Buenavista, y ofrece alojamiento en cabañas y cabañas Nipa. Tanto el personal como los dueños muy atentos. Nos ayudaron con varias dudas que teníamos. Nos organizaron un transporte a Sablayan por la mañana muy temprano y nos prepararon el desayuno. La ubicación nos gustó, en plena playa en una zona tranquila. El alojamiento es sencillo pero acogedor. El menú es apetecible y variado, con muchas opciones.

Ubicado a a menos de 1 km de Balete Beach, Placido's Vacation Home ofrece un jardín, un restaurante y alojamiento con balcón y wifi gratis. First of all, thank you for accommodating us. Our stay was wonderful! The place was clean, quiet, cozy, and very comfortable. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of various establishments, and it’s also close to the port. Most major tourist spots are just a 20–30 minute ride away. They even offered free pick-up upon our arrival, which was a big help. There is a shared kitchen available where guests can cook their own meals. I suggest bringing your own food to prepare, as this can help you save on expenses compared to eating out. The WiFi connection was fast, and the air conditioning worked very well. Special thanks to our host, Ver, who was extremely responsive and accommodating. He always made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. They even offered their car for touring us around. Ver was an all-in-one host — a tour guide, service driver, and even a cameraman — which we really appreciated, especially since it was our first time visiting Puerto Galera. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend this place. Additional tip (not related to the accommodation): I recommend booking your departure ticket as soon as you arrive in Galera, especially during weekends, as tickets sell out quickly. Based on our experience, we had to take a water taxi at ₱1,000 per person because regular tickets were sold out.

Also the place has all the amenities needed for everyday life. Everything went smoothly and i did not encounter any problems at all. I would surely book again at this place next time.
