Macrina and Ligh are two of the kindest, most welcoming people we’ve met on our journey. Every morning we had a different breakfast, and it genuinely made us excited to wake up. Almost every night they invited us to join their “family dinner,” completely free, and the vibe felt exactly like that -warm, homely, and full of care. The food was the best we’ve had in the Philippines, and the way they treated us made us feel not just like guests, but like long-time friends. We’re already looking forward to coming back and visiting Macrina and Ligh again. If you want a place with real heart, this is it.

I spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful resort, and I can only recommend it ! The location is perfect if you love nature and tranquility. You will be surrounded by a peaceful coconut forest and have direct access to the beach, where the sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. The staff is incredible : Whether it’s the kitchen team, who prepared delicious meals, or the housekeeping staff, who worked with a level of detail and care that I rarely see. Every time I requested my room to be cleaned, I was amazed by how perfectly everything was cleaned and arranged. But what makes this place truly special is the warm and loving atmosphere. It is run by a wonderful family who treats every guest like one of their own, alongside their friendly pets. I will definitely return.

Terletak di Puerto Galera, 4 menit jalan kaki dari Pantai Balete, Aguada Hills Residence menawarkan akomodasi dengan lounge bersama dan parkir pribadi gratis. Ver picked us up from Calapan port in his car because we couldn't get a boat to Balatero port and it was such a relief after a long 3 hour boat ride from Batangas to Calapan. Ver is probably the friendliest po I've ever met. His vibe, the way he talks exudes friendliness. I liked the location as well. It's just well situated in the middle of the hill, no tourists which is good but keep in mind that you'll need earplugs since there's a lot of noise from dogs barking, roosters going crazy at 4am in the morning, etc. Had an excellent stay at Ver's place. I highly recommend his place!

Also the place has all the amenities needed for everyday life. Everything went smoothly and i did not encounter any problems at all. I would surely book again at this place next time.

Medela was awesome, organizing a pickup from Puerto Galera to bring us to San Jose. Excellent location downtown, friendly staff and Medela and her husband dropped us off at the port the next day.
