Owners are a family of local people, who live there all their life (now in a house next to the rental one), they have a fantastic garden where you can enjoy beautiful plants and flowers (even kiwi and dragon fruit) and also different animals - goats, cows, chicken. If you love animals, the host can take you to feed them :)) I do, so I spent very nice time with all of them) and then in the fridge you will have fresh eggs from these chicken)). I also received as a present a nice collection of succulents :)))))) it will be a really good memory of our trip and these wonderful people. The house itself is very cozy , with nice decoration, convenient - you will find everything you need - equipped kitchen, hairdryer, good hot shower, comfortable beds, aircon in the basement bedroom , fans in the upper bedrooms, good wifi. A good set of products was prepared for our breakfast too. Parking is just next to property. The location is very convenient - 10 min to Horta with it's ferry terminal, restaurants and shops and 2 min to airport (no disturbing sound of planes though, as the air traffic is very low).

Casal do Vulcão is a recently renovated country house in Capelo, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. I don’t think I have ever given a 10. The hosts, exceptional, they went out of their way to help me which made my trip in the end. The access, easy access at anytime. Bus stop, location back to Horta right outside. Swimming pool and outdoor area to eat, sit. Beautiful walk to swim areas, supermarket/ cafe (was perfect for me but maybe a little remote for some without a car) Building was insanely beautiful. Everything I needed to cook, stay comfortable and enjoy my two sleeps. Quiet.

Marla is an excellent host...indeed there are eggs from house waiting for you, there is everything in house you need. Kitchen well equipped, maybe a better kitchen knife would be good. Barbecue at the outside terrace with wood available. Marla's husband catched some fresh fish we could buy.

The apartment is located 10 minutes walk from downtown with a great view of Piku. It is very well equipped, and has many personal touches. It's on the first floor of the building, and there is an elevator and private parking in front of the house. We felt very much at home there, after a warm welcome from our hostess, Eunice.

Well equipped with essentials and all that is needed to enjoy the beautiful space and setting. Fantastic views of Pico and the stars at night. Happy chickens and chirping frogs. It’s a little remote from Horta but that’s the beauty and we hired electric bikes in town for the duration and were able to do the shopping and see the island without hassle. Perfect way to enjoy the opportunity to be away from the fray.

Offering a garden and garden view, Baía das Caldeirinhas is set in Horta, 1.3 km from Praia de Porto Pim and 2 km from Praia da Conceição. Great location, quiet, rooms were spacious. Housekeeping around 11am meant you could sleep in a little if you wanted to rest. Comfy beds and nice living room.
