Loving Strangers Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Madalena. The accommodation provides karaoke and a shared kitchen. So much more than a hostel: a real family homestay experience, with a hug! Stefano and Pedro are wonderful hosts, I feel sheepish about not spending enough time in the garden relaxing and conversing - was too busy running around the island! The hostel is on a quiet street in the centre of Madalena, with stunning views over the Pico mountain. Rooms are spacious, each bed is curtained off for privacy, equipped with a power socket, a lamp and a fan, nice firm mattress. All communal areas are clean, and the garden is just awesome! You get a choice of cats to cuddle, and a dog :) The shared kitchen has everything you need for cooking or storing food items. Also, if you have an early start - like, climbing the mountain,- you can have tea, cereal, yoghurt and jam on toast - before the official breakfast time, just tidy up after yourself - but you'll miss the pancakes..... Definitely a hostel-home experience that I recommend and that is firmly on my re-visit bucket list!

Located in São Roque do Pico in the Pico island region, Casavó provides accommodation with access to a solarium. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the apartment free of charge. Very clean and the best choice for 2 people!

Pico Dreams offers spacious, self-catering villas with a balcony or terrace with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and Pico Mountain. Everything was great! The hosts are very friendly and nice. Very clean. I would really recommend it!

Situated in Piedade in the Pico island region, Adega do capitao has a garden. Boasting a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Amazing brand new place, designed with care and attention to detail at a peaceful location near natural pools and hiking routes. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, giving us tips for multiple activities around the island and making sure we have everything we need during our stay. Highly recommended, really great value for the price. We'd love to come back and stay longer.

Quinta da Baía - AL is situated in Arrife. With sea views, this accommodation features a patio. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. The location was excellent. Great views from the balcony across the bay. Lovely apartment which was well equipped. Our washing dried super quick outside with the help of the Azorian breeze! Christina was lovely and she lent us her binoculars too. Car parking space next to the apartment.

Situated in São Roque do Pico in the Pico island region, Casinha Kevin features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The location is wonderful, the ocean view in front the house is amazing. The house is very clean and cozy place, everything is organized with attention to details and love. The hostess is incredibly friendly and helpful, what made our even short stay memorable and enjoyable. Thanks a lot for this wonderful place !

A recently renovated homestay located in Lajes do Pico, Lost in Thyme features a garden. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Dee is an amazing hostess. Her property and garden is amazing. She takes extra care to ensure your stay is exactly what you need. I loved the view of the ocean and the special treats that she would offer. I feel that I have made a friend for life and cannot wait to stay there again!

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Cantinho dos Cagarros is set in Lajes do Pico. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The view was stunning. We met the owner as we arrived a little early. We were greeted with great kindness and a a lovely basket of fruit and goodies were left for us on the table. The place was comfortable and clean. The road down was a bit steep and narrow but the reward of the property is worth the drive. The place is on the water with steps down to get to the water. We loved our stay. thank you
