Tukholmassa sijaitsevalta Clarion Collection Hotel Tapetfabrikenilta on 500 metriä Sicklan rannalle. Majoituspaikassa on kuntokeskus, yksityinen pysäköintialue, yhteinen lounge ja ravintola. Kaikki työntekijät olivat todella ystävällisiä. Oli todella mukava yllätys, että huoneen hintaan sisältyvät ruuat olivat monipuolisia ja laadukkaita. Huone oli moderni ja siisti. Alue on rauhallinen, sekä bussilla pääsee helposti Tukholman keskustaan. Kaikki tarvittavat palvelut ovat kuitenkin hotellin lähellä. Hinta-laatusuhteeltaan tämä on paras hotelli, jossa olemme yöpyneet. Huoneen luovutuksen jälkeen on vielä mahdollisuus säilyttää matkatavaroita veloituksetta hotellissa, ja se oli myös todella positiivinen yllätys.

Conveniently situated in the centre of Stockholm, Stockholm Stadshotell provides air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. I booked for my mother’s birthday and it exceeded every expectation. The building itself is stunning, a historic property that has been beautifully refurbished. The service was outstanding. The team even left a note for my mother’s birthday, and everyone, especially Lydia and Helena, though every member of the team went out of their way to make our stay special. A small issue in one bathroom (some flooding in a shower), was immediately solved and the staff even offered to move us to another room at no cost. That kind of care makes all the difference. What makes the hotel even more special is how full of life it feels, with local families coming for lunch and dinner, adding to its authentic and welcoming atmosphere. Truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

Situated just 6.8 km from Falun Mine, Lakeside log cabin Främby Udde Falun features accommodation in Falun with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as private check-in and check-out. Charming small cabin with a wonderful view of the lake. The cabin is located in a small settlement of approx 20 cabins, but as this cabin is located at the outskirts, you forget that there are other houses in the neighborhood. We got the code to open the door by message prior to arrival, super convenient. The cabin itself is well-designed, very nicely decorated (dalahäst theme) and practical. The room for the children with three bunk beds is really tiny, no storage space at all, but it worked. The master bedroom and the bathroom are surprisingly spacious. The kitchen is functional and even has a small but very efficient dishwasher (dishwasher tabs are not provided). The area is wonderful for all sorts of winter sports. We intended to do iceskating on the lake but unfortunately, the ice wasn't cleared for skating. We opted for cross-country skiing instead and were enchanted by the variety and the lovely countryside. A downhill skiing area is about 5 min away by car.

Really nice place. Quiet, close to the train station (but not noisy) and to the shops. Close to Stockholm and Tyresta Natural Park. Nice, comfortable room, everything comfy and clean. Recommend.
