Kaikki työntekijät olivat todella ystävällisiä. Oli todella mukava yllätys, että huoneen hintaan sisältyvät ruuat olivat monipuolisia ja laadukkaita. Huone oli moderni ja siisti. Alue on rauhallinen, sekä bussilla pääsee helposti Tukholman keskustaan. Kaikki tarvittavat palvelut ovat kuitenkin hotellin lähellä. Hinta-laatusuhteeltaan tämä on paras hotelli, jossa olemme yöpyneet. Huoneen luovutuksen jälkeen on vielä mahdollisuus säilyttää matkatavaroita veloituksetta hotellissa, ja se oli myös todella positiivinen yllätys.

Our stay at The Architects’ House was an absolute delight from start to finish. Henrik is one of those rare hosts who combines genuine warmth, professionalism, and an eye for detail that makes you feel at home the moment you arrive. Communication was seamless—every message was answered quickly and with kindness. We arrived early in the morning after a long flight, and Henrik went out of his way to make sure the apartment was ready for us by 9 a.m. His welcome message was so thoughtful and clear that check-in felt effortless. The apartment itself is stunning—full of character, beautifully designed, and steeped in history. You can feel the soul of Stockholm in every detail. The location couldn’t be better: right in the heart of Gamla Stan, on a quiet, picturesque street, steps away from the subway and the old town’s best cafés and restaurants. Small touches made all the difference—a bottle of wine waiting for us, fresh towels delivered with care, and the cozy atmosphere that made us feel like true locals. Even when a small issue came up with the hair dryer, Henrik’s immediate and gracious response reminded us how much he values his guests’ comfort. The decor and vibe were perfect 🫶. We felt at home and were sad we couldn't stay for longer. Breakfaat had everything we needed, including fresh local eggs. We will stay here next time we are in the area!

Absolutely gorgeous, historic accommodation in the heart of Strängnäs. You can see the Domkyrka bell tower from the bedroom window and it’s a short walk to the harbour and windmill (well worth a tour—it’s free and the guides are fantastic). Henrik and Isa have thought of every comfort and are incredibly obliging hosts. The bed is possibly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Strängnäs itself is adorable. Its location on Mälaren makes for a beautiful outlook, there are cafes, restaurants and boutiques. There are shops, pubs and swimming spots. The train takes you to Stockholm in less than an hour and it’s not too far to Mariefred and Gripsholms Slott. I mean, what’s not to love? Henrik and Isa have good recommendations to suit your needs. You should stay here!
