They took care of my dog when I visited a castle, the kids loved him and took care of him and they were a big help when my car didn't start. 15 out of 10 stars.

Communication with the host was great, and as soon as we arrived, they came outside to bring the keys and explain a few details about the property. It’s reassuring to have the host living on-site in case we need anything. The location is also excellent - it’s at the end of an impasse, so there’s no traffic and is nice and quiet. The beautiful Orava Castle is just a quick drive up the road, and there’s a Coop grocery store in short walking distance if you need to stock up on any food or drinks. A mini fridge is provided as well.

The bunk bed in the wooden house is amazing and spacious, and our children really loved it. Everything is very clean. Breakfast is nice, and kids eat for free. The restaurant staff is friendly and welcoming, especially the wonderful waitress (whose name we unfortunately forgot) who was on shift during our stay from September 23 to 26.

I Oravský Podzámok, 9 minutters gange fra Orava slott, ligger Penzión Reduta, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en terrasse og grillutstyr. Breakfast was a Slovak classic and quite okay. The location of the guesthouse is excellent, right below Orava Castle and close to several ski resorts in the area.

Amazing location in quiet street. Lot summer and winter places / activities to visit We ended up in this hotel due to our car broke down couple kilometers away. Our reservation was very last minute (literally minutes). Rooms were ready, clean and host were very helpful regarding our car situation. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast in the morning was amazing. We had to wait until afternoon for our car to be fixed. We used this time to do a smaller hike in the surrounding hills. Great views. I would definitely recommend this place and hope that we will be able to return for a planned visit and enjoy the nature around.
