It was simply amazing, even beyond expectations, it's nice to receive such service! There is a chance that you will stay in the SPA and in the room more then on the hiking and extend your vacation at work :)

This place is beautiful and it looks exactly like in the pictures. The furniture in the room was brand new, the room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. There was a wide range of breakfast options. The location of the guesthouse is amazing, right at the beginning of a hiking trail to Janosikove Diery, with beautiful views to surrounding mountains. I was lucky enough to see the sun rising right between Maly and Velky Roszutec from my room:) I travelled with my dog and I could really feel that this place is pet-friendly. I really appreciate the relaxed and easy-going attitude of the owners and the staff. Thank you!

A very nice stay at this property. Parking just outside and a fan was made available at our request because of the heatwave. The owner was very patient with my lack of Slovakian - but we made ourselves understood 😀. 15 minute walk into town for dinner and breakfast. I would recommend this property.

Rodeada pelo Parque Nacional Mala Fatra e situado na aldeia de Stefanová, a Penzion Stárek oferece acomodações com restaurante, bar, jardim com churrasqueira, parquinho infantil e terraço. The Penzion is in great localization of Stefanova, ideal place if you plan to hike. The room was clean, with nacie balcony. Downstairs there is restaurant- open up.to 8pm- so no problem with the noise. Breakfast ( 5 menu items) together with small Buffet is included. The staff is very nice- they speak only Slovakian - but we as Polish managed to talk with them:) The location is almost empty during weekdays and not so busy even during long weekends.

Nice, big, warm apartmant in a really quiet street. We are visited in winter time but there is a huge garden area so it should be nice also during summer time :) The ovner, Maria was really nice and helpfull. There was even a cookie waiting for us. Grocery stores, restaurants are close. We came here for hiking and for that also perfect. Lots of interesting hiking router are extremely close. If we visit the area next time, im certainly going to check if Skalka available :)

O Penzion Montana é um Cama e Café (B&B) localizado a 600 metros do centro de Terchová. Graças à sua localização, a pousada é um ponto de partida ideal para turistas, ciclistas e esquiadores. Great place and value for money, super friendly staff, pet friendly (we had a cat) - breakfast was also very good. Highly recommend!

Horský penzión Šuštiak oferece acomodação com jardim, estacionamento privativo grátis e terraço em Terchová. Castelo de Orava fica a 40 km de distância. The room was really clean. The bathroom too. There was a kitchenette in the room however without a hob. There is a sizeable fridge, a kitchen sink and a kettle. There is a large wardrobe next to it and lots of kitchen cupboards. There is a separate communal kitchen on each floor where you can use the hob, microwave etc (no oven). There is plenty of space to sit and eat. There was always space in the car park. If you plan to leave early for the mountains (we left at 5am) ask the host to open the gate, which is locked at night. The Lidl and Coop shops are 3 minutes away by car. From the balcony there is a beautiful view of the "Sokolie" peak.

I can't recommend this hotel enough. From the beginning until the very end it was perfection all the way . It's a stunning little gem in the beautiful surroundings of Mala Fatra national park with breathtaking views .Hotel is very clean , nicely decorated, we loved pool and jacuzzi with view , we loved our spacious , tastefully decorated apartment with big balcony ( again with amazing views) For the small hotel such as the choice of breakfast was satisfying and tasty . And last but not least our big thank you to all the staff, everyone was very welcoming , polite and helpful. We will treasure beautiful memories and will be back next August .
