Located just 18 km from Zona Ecologica Principe Ecological Zone, Casas Salomão offers accommodation in Santo António with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a shared kitchen. I can only say good things about this place. First of all the family is really nice and via whatsapp always reachable. Secondly they organise whatever you need (ride, car, boatrip etc). I didnt to a boatrip so cannot tell much, but organised a car within a few minutes. Of course it is basic but still clean, hot water and the best Wifi I had so far. It is in the middle of nowhere, you either need transport or quite a bit of walking towards Santo Antonio or the beaches. I did it, Beaches are about 2-3h round trip. Santo Antonio about 2h round trip but quite steep. Dinner I eat twice and both times plenty and good and it is afordable. The son even speaks perfect english, which is super rare in STP. The cherry on top airport transfer is free

With sea views, Pousadinha Mar Ave Ilha is located in Principe and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. We spent some really great days at Jose's place. He is very nice and outgoing and always up for support. Besides, his English is great. For example he organized a guide showing us the rain forest and nearby waterfall. The nearby beach is also stunning. I can say that we came as guests and left as friends. Very kind regards to Jose and his team.

A recently renovated chalet situated in Santo António, Casa de Andréa features a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. This accommodation is perfect for anyone seeking tranquility, privacy, and a deep connection with nature. The house was clean and well-maintained, as was the spacious garden. There was plenty of room, a comfortable bed, and a large terrace ideal for relaxing and observing nature. The beach is just a short walk away, and you’ll have it all to yourself – total privacy. You are surrounded by nature, with the nearest house several hundred meters away, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Due to the location (in the middle of a tropical forest), the road access is a bit rough, but the natural beauty makes up for it. Breakfasts, on the terrace, were accompanied by the sounds of birds and monkeys – truly magical. Just keep in mind that the terrain is not flat, which is to be expected in a forest setting. Marie was a very attentive host and a wonderful cook. And that fruit? A taste you don't know. We ordered local meals, and everything was delicious. We also took advantage of the guided tour. Our guide picked us up from the airport and in the middle of the week took us to Praia Banana and Praia Boi, both stunning beaches in the north of the island. There’s also an option for a boat tour, which we unfortunately didn’t have time for. If you’re looking for a unique place in the heart of nature with a personal touch, this is it. We will definitely come back here.

Situated in Santo António, 15 km from Zona Ecologica Principe Ecological Zone, Residencial Brigada features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This is a great little place. The room with private bathroom is good, the aircon is good, breakfast is very good, worth the price, Carlos is a very nice host who goes the extra mile to make your trip comfortable; organising boattrips, excursions on the island, airport transfer or even sometimes cooking a meal in the evening if he has the time. Highly recommended!

Boasting river views, Roça Maria Helena-Príncipe offers accommodation with patio, around 15 km from Zona Ecologica Principe Ecological Zone. The property is beautiful and the rooms are very nice as well. The breakfast is amazing and stuff is super friendly!!!

Featuring sea views, Casa Mãe - Inn offers accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 8.4 km from Zona Ecologica Principe Ecological Zone. Casa Mãe is a well-renovated house with two rooms, one living room, one bathroom, and two balconies with amazing views. From the front balcony every morning we could see thousands of beautiful butterflies and colorful birds and from the back balcony, the view is unique to the garden, fruit trees, and plants like vanilla or black pepper. We also can see the sea and the national park. The staff is very kind and the property is always very clean. Near is the Pousadinha Mar Ave Ilha which belongs to the same owner where we can spend time reading or watching more than 100 TV channels from all over the world. The local meals were also fantastic, especially the fresh fish and the octopus. I truly recommend Casa Mãe to other guests who want to have a peaceful time. Grade 10.
