A highly positive experience on a work-related trip to S. Tomé. This relatively small hotel (really a villa, as in its name) is very well located in a relatively calm neighborhood close to the center (but without all the noise and agitation). Although it doesn't have lunch&dine facilities (only breakfast), it is very close to many excellent restaurants (Papa-Figo, Petiscos da Vilma, Parque Popular, Carambola, Pico Mocambo, etc.) and next door to Moxinhos, a lunch&coffee shop with the most delicious cakes. The room had airco, minifridge, desk, comfortable beds, and a good, functional private bathroom with hot water. Having stayed in other places in the city of S. Tomé, I really appreciated the cleanliness and quietness of the hotel. A heads up to the manager and all the other staff: this is what one would call excellent, reliable "service with a smile". They went out of their way to help with anything that came up (arranging for transportation, exchanging money, etc.) and were always available for a friendly chat.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, situated on a magnificent beach. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing, and feeling close to nature. We also loved the outdoor showers, showering under the stars. All facilities are very clean and you are surrounded by beautiful views everywhere. We took one of the kayaks to the river close to the hotel and kayaked down a beautiful, (and incredibly clean) river where you have a stunning view of Pico Cão Grande. We are glad we chose to stay here when we were exploring the south and central parts of the island.

It is located on a very pretty part of the island really close to a very beautiful beach. There are also only 2 cottages so it’a never busy with people. Great place to relax. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
