Koh Chang is a beautiful island—not only is the island itself lovely but so are the people who live there. No exception at Lonely Groove: Lemon and her sister were so happy, kind and caring, their big smiles and warmth reminded me of being at home with my mom. I felt safe and comfortable my entire stay. I loved chatting to them before heading out to explore or after coming back from a long day in the sun. Some notes: the bungalows are further inland which means less foot traffic and noise from other hotels/bars; it's peaceful, quiet and clean; the beach is less than five minutes away (stop by all cafes/restaurants on the way to/from the beach!); my bungalow was modest and roomy, had all the necessities, including a mosquito net, and aircon didn't cost much more; hammock on the outside patio; watch out for monkeys who want to take your food! I would love to come back.

If you want to experience a real vacation on an island, Harley Moon is the best place to go. Their cottage rooms are giving true island vibe where you can enjoy nature and have your own privacy. There are also common areas where you can bond with the other guests like the pool, the garden and the bar area. The staffs are very hospitable and accommodating. They will always greet you with a smile and ensure the cleanliness of your room everyday. There are also several Thai restaurants just outside the resort which is less expensive but offers big serving of food compared to the other spots. I drove around the island and i can say that this the best place because it’s far from the crowd but accessible to all.

Nestled on the scenic shores of Koh Chang, Dinso Resort & Villas Ko Chang, Vignette Collection, offers a blend of pristine beauty and rustic charm. Very much loved this hotel - I think the pool + Beach + Restaurant/Bar setup are exceptional! Having the sunset view with the beach/pool/restaurant combined made the stay perfect, the beach walk is super nice too! stayed in a pool access room which was also a great feature to have our own semi-private space. The room was clean, comfy and what you would expect overall. Location is good and close enough to a couple of good restaurants (Mango), super close 711 and short walk (10-20mins to many more) or songthaew. Breakfast was reasonably priced with tons of options too.

The hotel is incredibly well located, with direct access to the beach. The owner lives right at the front by the beach and fulfills almost every request. Even before my arrival, he kindly arranged a great scooter for me upon request, which accompanied me throughout my entire trip. The rooms are beautifully designed and very tastefully furnished. The staff are genuinely warm and welcoming, making you feel at home from the very first moment. At the neighboring Italian restaurant directly on the beach, hotel guests can enjoy a discounted and very delicious breakfast. I really appreciate that they offer European cuisine instead of forcing Thai food, as this makes the restaurant feel more authentic. Of course, as a European, you might wonder why you would eat Italian food in Asia. Out of pure exhaustion after my long journey, I ended up eating there and was honestly surprised by how incredibly good and authentically made the pizza was. A clear recommendation from me. The hotel is very new and unfortunately a bit difficult to find on Google Maps, as one road is incorrectly shown as passable. If I remember correctly, you need to turn toward the beach one intersection later than what Google suggests. Then you cross a small bridge. Although there is a sign saying that cars are not allowed, do not worry, you can still drive across. After the bridge, turn right, follow the short gravel road and you will arrive directly at the hotel. Overall, the hotel deserves the highest rating in every category.

The villa provided the most amazing secluded luxury, while being close to the beach. All the details are so perfectly curated - this is by far the best place we have stayed in Thailand!
