We checked into the hotel at 7:00 AM. The reception staff were very kind and polite. Since we didn’t purchase a breakfast package, I can’t comment on the breakfast. The view of Bangkok from the infinity pool looked beautiful. Also, the most important thing for us was being able to check into our room at 7:00 AM, even though the official check-in time was 3:00 PM. We sincerely thank BB and the reception staff for this thoughtful gesture.

This resort was a wonderful experience. The owner Henry and the manager Dee were the kindest, most helpful and caring people, especially since we showed up without luggage, which didn't show up until day 5 after our arrival in Bangkok. Upon arrival, Henry took us shopping and even out for lunch. I've never met a hotel owner like him and am glad he is a light in this world! This resort is in a wonderful location, along the Melong River. Each room is actually a little house, made from old houses. My husband said the extra little adjoining room with another bed was a glam doghouse! It could also be a writing room or a bed for a third person lol. The resort will arrange a complimentary rickshaw whenever you want to go into town. The night market is great! Breakfasts were amazing and accommodated my vegetarian gluten-free diet, with lots of fruit, the best bread ever (so says my husband), cheese, cereals, juices, and a different cooked to order main each day. The pool was clean and "almost" 25 metres long! We took the Mekong River tour and also the waterfalls tour. Both were excellent! If you have an opportunity, stay here! You won't regret it!

Shama Yen-Akat Bangkok sijaitsee Bangkokissa 3,7 km:n päässä Queen Sirikitin kansalliselta kongressikeskukselta. We loved everything about the Shama Yen-Akat and I can only recommend it to anyone. We stayed there 3 times during our trip and it was amazing. The rooms are very clean and I love their concept and details. Everything is thought through and there is plenty of storage room, a good kitchenette and the beds are super comfy. You can change the light concepts and this hotel made us really feel comfortable and home. You get a lot of value for your money. They have balconies as well. You’re in the middle of the city within a 15 mins taxi ride, traffic can be tight though. Close to the hotel you’ll find a Starbucks, a great supermarket and ATM. There are restaurants as well. The highlight was the extremely good concierge service. Mink and the team are absolute stars. Mink remembered us and we got a great welcome every time. He organised taxis and recommended places to go. Gym is good as well and you’ll find towels and water there.
