The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, always smiling and ready to assist. I also appreciated the calm vibe of the resort – perfect for unwinding. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the pool area was spotless. I was for second time here and I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar!

We loved the pool and the hammock beds that surrounded the pool. The food is absolutely delicious and the owners are willing to accommodate your dietary needs. But the best part is definitely the owners and staff—they treated us like VIP guests and took great care of us. They even hosted a family style Christmas Eve dinner with authentic polish cuisine and had a live band perform for dinner on Christmas Day. Honestly the previous reviews about this place are spot on—it’s a great place to unwind and relax plus the area the hotel is located in has the best snorkeling experience on the entire island. Featuring pool with a view and views of pool, Uhuru Hotel & Restaurant is a recently renovated apartment located in Nungwi, less than 1 km from Nungwi Beach. We had a really nice stay here, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the pool was lovely. Breakfast was also great, and food that they serve here is also really tasty for fair prices. Mohammed will do everything to make sure you have a great stay, he was such a great host! Only a 10 minute walk to the main beach.

Chunga Changa is located in Matemwe and features a private pool and pool views. The staff were very nice & we enjoyed the good food . Everything was perfect! 🫶🏽
