A recently renovated farm stay in Ben Tre, Coco Happy Farm offers picnic area, private parking and sports facilities. This farm stay provides a shared lounge. The location is amazing, so is the host and their family. The food is really tasty as well and the dogs and cats are so cute. There is complementary water, laundry, coconuts and even a motorcycle. Would recommend to anyone and if I'm in the area I will definitely come back!

Amy and her family take you out on an amazing adventure where you learn about Vietnamese culture and traditional ways of the south. The knowledge and richness we got in contact here was astonishing! And the way how all of this is also bundled in a beautiful book with the fitting title “Passing the fire from a mother’s kitchen”, is just sublime. If we ever have the chance, we will definitely go back and probably stay way longer!

Our host was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. He gave us great recommendations of things to do while in Ben Tre. He also shared stories of his family and Vietnams history. We rented a bike from the homestay for a fair price and it was in perfect condition, the best condition of any bike we’ve had in Vietnam! The property is so beautiful and in a really nice quiet part of the town. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Mekong

Situated in Ben Tre, Ba Danh Homestay & Kitchen - Ben Tre Mekong offers accommodation with access to a public bath. This homestay provides free private parking and a shared kitchen. This country style homestay feels so far away from civilisation, and like a country home, but also, and surprisingly, offers amazingly good food and service as though it was a four star. Not that we were looking for that. Its rustic and down to earth but the family really want you to feel comfortable, so they go out if their way to make you feel free, and as such, you never to clustrophobic or over bearing. Plus, there is always someone on duty who can assist in fairly good English. Making outings easy. So, you are never out of sorts and can get on with exploring the country life easily. And returning any time you like. We loved it. The township is only a few km away in case you want to explore some small country town hospitality offering excellent food choices too. And that's saying something, being a biased Italian.

Giang and Cuc, the owners of the home, are a lovely couple. They take care of their guests just like family, and the whole place truly feels like home. The house is comfortable, airy, and clean, with everything you need for a short stay, including a proper kitchen. I love the nostalgic interior, and the garden is so calming. They even offer a morning yoga session, which makes a huge difference. Short distance from local wet market, and near to the main bridge Cau Rach Mieu. I’m definitely coming back and I’ll bring my family with me next time.

Situated in Ben Tre, MOCAY farmstay features accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. I don’t usually rush to leave reviews, but this place genuinely blew us away. Mocay Farmhouse was such a special surprise. The rooms are simple but beautifully done, with an indoor–outdoor feel that makes you feel completely immersed. Everything looked like the photos, but what they can’t capture is the atmosphere — the whole place has this magically peaceful calm. After the chaos of HCMC, arriving here felt like my nervous system finally relaxed. We’ve been backpacking for two months and this is easily one of the highlights of the entire trip, if not number one. We wanted to avoid the touristy Mekong Delta experience, and staying here was the best decision we made. You don’t need tours or plans — just being here is the experience. Meals were available for 200,000 VND and felt very fair: comforting, traditional food (pho, fried noodles and rice, homemade spring rolls, fresh fruit, and coconuts chopped straight from the tree). They were also happy to cater for vegetarians. Amenities were great too: hot rainfall shower, strong AC, comfy bed, free filtered water, and lovely patio spaces to relax (note: towels are small, so bring a bigger one if you like). We’re usually sceptical of anything labelled “authentic”, but the farmhouse’s tour genuinely lived up to it. Cycling through the area, a boat ride through coconut groves with a local friend, and a truly local market — it felt more like being shown around by a friend than a tour. We didn’t see a single other tourist the whole time, which was a first for us. The staff were incredibly kind and patient (we speak no Vietnamese and relied entirely on Google Translate), and communication beforehand was excellent. Even in high season, we were the only guests. If you’re looking for a peaceful, non-touristy, truly special stay in the Mekong Delta — don’t hesitate

Located in Xóm Kính in the Ben Tre region, Ben Tre Inn has a garden. The property features garden and inner courtyard views. This place is perfect to relax after HCMC. You get a rich breakfast (soup or eggs, tea, fruits) in a garden terrace with lots of flora. There is also a friendly doggy and a cat. Room was nice and clean. They offer bike/motorbike rental service to explore the area. They are also selling tours if you are into that but the best thing overall are the owners who promptly took care of every little inconveniences and overall were very helpfull and sweet. Limited english but you get in touch with their english speaking daughter via phone. She helped me to book a bus yay!
