Lots of "hints" and info, how things work or where something can be found made it easy to find out how everything is working in the accommodation without second guessing. Last but not least, a very friendly and accommodating hostess!

Set on the banks of the Tugela River, 22 km north of Winterton, Tugela River Lodge features self-catering accommodation 13 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve and 22 km from Winterton Museum. We loved this location - quaint, comfortable, and welcoming. The setting and the cabin were fabulous. Julian, our host was great. The cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and roomy, and the beds were comfortable. The wood-heated hot tub was fun. Guest could rent bikes, buy firewood, and 'shop' in the farm stall for fresh eggs, honey, wonderful homemade freezer meals, and much more There are several trails right out the front door that enable you to hike or mountain bike to a reserve with zebras and giraffes. We all wished we could have stayed longer! Thanks Julian!

There is a lovely lounge area at the swimmingpool with an amazing view over the Champagne Valley! Very spacious place with fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, 2 bathrooms and large living area! The hosts are so nice and give loads of explanation about restaurants and the area.

Located around a privately owned lake with views of the Drakensberg mountain range, Sani Valley Nature Lodges offers secluded chalet accommodation in a tranquil setting with game viewing... We stayed 3 nights at the bushman lodge with our two daughters, age 2 and 4. In the five weeks we’ve travelled the country, this accommodation was high in our top 3. It’s remote, but it’s spacious rooms and balcony with jacuzzi, the tranquillity of nature, the views, delicious food, etc, the whole family loved it.
