Our cottage was extremely neat, clean, functional and tasteful. The garden is incredibly beautiful! The location is perfect and within walking distance of the town centre. The owners were available and gave us lots of tips about places to eat and attractions in the area. They also brought a lovely bottle of wine for my husband to celebrate his 70th birthday. We will definitely stay here again and again.

Petro the manager and chef was fantastic, friendly and could not be more helpful. Her dinner and breakfast was delicious.

The Victoria House has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Ficksburg, 1.5 km from Ficksburg Golf Club. I travel often and I can confidently say that this place is world-standard. I loved everything about Victoria House. The room was spacious and clean. The property is picturesque. They went out of their way to put a desk in my room so I could work. The dinner and breakfast were yummy. I honestly cannot rave about them enough. Highly recommend them to everyone:-)

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of garden, The Stoke House is set in Clarens, 26 km from Golden Gate Highlands National Park. Everything was great. House is so comfortable and well decorated. It's also amazingly well equipped. Had everything we needed and more! Really enjoyed my stay, and I'd stay here again easily.

Middelwater Farm Hotel, a property with a garden and a bar, is set in Bloemfontein, 20 km from Boyden Observatory, 27 km from Oliewenhuis Art Gallery, as well as 13 km from Bagamoya Wildlife Estate. Fantastic all around - beautiful, comfortable and welcoming! Can’t recommend enough.
