Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. We felt so welcomed and cared for by Ken. Fresh local flowers in the room, a friendly face and comfortable room in a delightful seaside village. We were kindly dropped back to the train - a lovely experience and memory.

Staff is very friendly and we got a personal goodbye message; Which is a very lovely touch. Location and the building itself are top, very beautiful.

Set just 42 km from Koibito Misaki Cape, Guesthouse SORA offers accommodation in Minamiizu with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Everything was so neat and tidy. The owner was so kind and everyone staying was so friendly.

Kisami Ohama beach is just a 3-minute walk from, Oli Oli Guesthouse in Shimoda featuring a terrace and bar. The property is located 7 km from Shirahama Ohama Beach. Location is prime. Such a close walk to the beach and other coves for snorkeling. Outdoor shower to wash off the sand. Food at the cafe was so convenient and delicious after spending the day at the beach. Private bathroom in the room.

Opened in February 2018, GOTEN residence is set in Fujinomiya and offers accommodation in a remodeled 80 year old wooden villa. So hospitable and responsive. Thank you for a great stay. The host allowed us store our luggage in the next door cafe. Minato, who helped us get our luggage in the cafe, was so helpful and friendly.

Situated in Minamiizu and only 90 metres from Yumigahama Beach, Villa Yumigahama features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, helping us in any way we needed. They went above and beyond to make our stay in this recently beautifully refurnished cabin a mere three minute walk from gorgeous Yumigahama beach. Would give twenty stars if I could and would definitely recommend!

34 km from Shuzen-ji Temple in Higashiizu, Bousui offers accommodation with access to a sauna, hot spring bath and hot tub. The property has sea and quiet street views, and is 49 km from Mount Daruma.... Bousui - really magnificent ryokan hotel which takes special place in my wife’s and mine hearts😄! Room was very big, all over traditionally designed, very atmospheric and comfortable! Hot spring baths were amazing too: luxurious, very comfortable and with beautiful sea views! Premium gazebo was especially great! Really worth it! Employee, who helped us in room was very attentive, helpful and made all we could need to take all the best from our staying! Special thanks for pleasant conversations and tons of very interesting information! You made our staying unforgettable! Additionally to traditional breakfast, we asked for Kaiseki dinner - it was third Kaiseki we got, and truly, the most delicious and impressive! Fish was as fresh as it is possible, serving was full of beautiful and very interesting details! Last, but not least part of our rest was massage in award winning GECCA SPA: to be honest, Suzune gave me greatest massage I ever got! She was so attentive and diligent, made message with so masterpiece, that I’ve got extreme pleasure and relief! More over, it was first time when I feel, that therapist don’t just do it work, but really cares of me!🙏🏻 Btw, my wife never liked massages, but even she was really impressed by Suzune’s work! Boasting sea views, Migiwaya provides accommodation with balcony, around 7.3 km from Rengejiike Park Fuji Festival. This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle service. The best part of the stay was the friendly staff! And that’s saying something because the room and ambience was beyond our expectations!

Featuring private open-air hot spring bath in all rooms, Isaribi is located in Hagashiizu, 2.7 km from Atagawa Hot Springs. A quiet and small place located near ocean, although building outside is old style but room renovated modern. Room has good view, you could see the sunrise too. Food is excellent, firstly was afraid breakfast would be the same as I stayed 2 nights, but found out was diffident and delicious. Hotel provided shuttle pick up from station. Staff is so nice. It was really a relaxed trip.
