The view from our patio was breath taking, and the glass doors looking out at the view made it even more special, because it feels like you are close to the jungle even indoors. You get to see several species of birds right from there in the mornings. Saman, our host was very accommodating and his brother Pradeep took us on our jungle tour and we had a great time. There’s a hotel close by where you can pay to use the pool as well.

This is a really special hotel. The setting is fantastic - peaceful and set apart, with fabulous views from all sides of the property across 'valleys' and to the sea. The staff are wonderful and so warm and friendly. They create a really relaxing environment where nothing is too much! The managers were extremely gracious and always took the time to talk to the guests and check in on everything. Rooms are large and beautifully laid out so you can be comfy inside and outside on the terrace - either way enjoying the views and your private pool night and day.

Sakura Calm Rest está a 6 min a pie de Mirissa Beach y ofrece jardín, además de alojamiento con aire acondicionado, balcón y wifi gratis. We had a lovely stay at sakura calm rest :) the room was spacious and clean, so was the bathroom. The balcony is nice to relax and the AC worked perfectly well on those hot afternoons. We especially enjoyed having a fully equipped kitchen to make our own fruitjuice. The host was super friendly and helpful. The beach is approx 5 minutes by foot and theres cafe around the corner with good coffee and smoothiebowls.

Lovely bed and breakfast at Dondra Head - the southernmost point of Sri Lanka. Great family running the business. Room spacious and clean, WiFi fast and probably I have had in Sri Lanka, breakfast good and varied, including freshly squeezed juices every morning. Located literally next to Dondra Lighthouse, so very special location among the palm trees. Very local vibe. I also ate dinner here - super fresh lobster was awesome. Tons of green parrots live in the palm trees and make for a fun viewing experience also. I would come back and stay here again.

The owners are a young, beautiful couple, very positive and pleasant to communicate with. Thank you very much! I hope that I will return to Merissa and live in your wonderful hotel again! Details: - the bed is comfortable, - the breakfasts are good, there are several options, - excellent location, away from the noisy main street of Mirissa and at the same time 5 minutes from the sea - beautiful area. We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. The room was cleaned once, after about 5 days. It was comfortable option for us.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mirissa Reef Serenity and I must say, it was a truly unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the host, David, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. His warm and friendly demeanor instantly put us at ease, and we knew we were in for a fantastic stay. The hotel itself is relatively new, and it's clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into every detail. The rooms are beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The quality of the bathrooms was particularly impressive, with modern fixtures and luxurious amenities. The location of the hotel is simply unbeatable, especially for those who love surfing. Situated in front of a reef, it's perfect for advanced surfers looking for a challenge. Additionally, there is a stunning snorkeling spot just a short walk down the beach, where you can explore the vibrant marine life to your heart's content. One thing to note is that while the hotel is in front of the reef, you can't swim directly in front of the property. You'll need to walk a bit further down the beach and navigate some rocks, so I would recommend bringing water shoes for added comfort. The energy at Mirissa Reef Serenity is truly special, and a large part of that is thanks to the incredibly friendly staff. In fact, they were the friendliest staff we encountered during our entire two-week trip. David, who is French, brings a touch of Western style to the breakfast offerings, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We visited the hotel with our six-year-old son, and it was a hit with the whole family. We had a fantastic time spotting wild animals in the reef and during our snorkeling adventures. Overall, our stay at Mirissa Reef Serenity was nothing short of perfect. From the welcoming atmosphere to the beautiful surroundings, everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!
