Come here. And you’ll never want to leave. In all my travels so far. This one is hard to beat. From arriving and being greeted like family. The cold water and fruit plate as soon as you get there. To the MOST amazing bed! Honestly it’s out of this world. Spotlessly clean all the time. Sitting on the verandah watching the soaring eagles every morning while eating breakfast. It’s a different world down on the pier. Literally the most peaceful place on the island. Book it. You won’t regret it x

I Ko Chang, 2 minutters gange fra Klong Kloi-stranden, ligger LONELY GROOVE, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. Koh Chang is a beautiful island—not only is the island itself lovely but so are the people who live there. No exception at Lonely Groove: Lemon and her sister were so happy, kind and caring, their big smiles and warmth reminded me of being at home with my mom. I felt safe and comfortable my entire stay. I loved chatting to them before heading out to explore or after coming back from a long day in the sun. Some notes: the bungalows are further inland which means less foot traffic and noise from other hotels/bars; it's peaceful, quiet and clean; the beach is less than five minutes away (stop by all cafes/restaurants on the way to/from the beach!); my bungalow was modest and roomy, had all the necessities, including a mosquito net, and aircon didn't cost much more; hammock on the outside patio; watch out for monkeys who want to take your food! I would love to come back.

I Ko Chang, bare under 1 kilometer fra Klong Kloi-stranden og 22 kilometer fra Mu Koh Chang nasjonalpark ligger Neeno Hut. Neeno hut is the exact Thailand gateway I was dreaming of. Location is in the middle of Bang Bao pier and area, close to the beach, to the diving centers, to 7/11 and food and still in a quiet and peaceful area. The bungalow was super clean and had everything I needed. Most importantly it had the hammock outside :) Just have to keep in mind that you get what you pay for, and that's why it's cheap. The hut (fan only one) is made from bamboo and as such isn't heat proof when the sun comes up, and isn't insect proof at all. It's a perfect solution for a solo traveller wanting a bit of peace and quiet and to enjoy the beach

I Ko Chang, 0 minutters gange fra Klong Son-stranden, ligger Shambhala Beach Resort, som har et utendørsbasseng, gratis privat parkering, et treningsstudio og en hage. Such a lovely resort. The food was excellent. The staff was friendly.

Kohkoodfarmstay har overnatting med en hage, en terrasse og en bar, og har utsikt over fjellet. Her bor du bare 14 minutters gange unna Ao Phrao-stranden. Nice authentic inexpensive place with caring hosts.

Bare 1,9 kilometer fra Ao Tapao-stranden og 3,4 kilometer fra Klong Chao-fossen ligger The Canale Boutique Stay Koh Kood, som tilbyr overnatting med klimaanlegg og eget bad i Ko Kood. Lovely homestay on the water. Great size room with nice touches and attention to detail. The host Daeng and Reinhard are absolutely lovely. Wonderful breakfast. Wonderful little village

I Ko Kood, 18 minutters gange fra Sai Daeng-stranden, ligger Jasmin Garden Koh Kood, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en terrasse og en restaurant. Staff is super nice and made us and our 4-month daughter feel at home. The garden is amazing as well as the food. We could not swim in front of the homestay as the sea was agitated but the next beach is close.
