United KingdomThe perfect rest place after our Pantanal experience. We arrived hot and dusty and it was pure bliss to be greeted by the friendly staff and Igor and his family and then jump in the large pool and relax in sun loungers, watching the sunset, all very peaceful. The rooms were spacious and super clean and comfortable. There was a limited offer of dinner dishes but they were all generous and very tasty. There was also a gym and horse riding available if you stayed longer - we wished we had! Location was great, a couple of minutes outside Pocone.

Peaceful location in north Pantanal, wildlife on the doorstep with birds and capybaras in the gardens, super pool, clean large rooms great food, and fantastic staff.

The Pousada is next to a beautiful river about two hours into the Pantanal. The food buffet is delicious, the pool offers cooldown during the midday heat and the best part is the tours offered by the guides.
We had a great time and would definitely come back.

Lovely rooms and comfortable bed.
We stayed 3 nights and saw lots of birds, in particular a family of Hyacinth Macaws in the tree on the grounds of the lodge. There were also monkeys in the trees. The pool was great in the heat, but we did need insect repellent when we got out!
The staff were all very attentive, the guides were all trained biologists and very knowledgeable.
The food was excellent, probably the best we had in Brazil overall.
A great stay.

The Aymara was amazing. It is a very idyllic nestled in the Pantanal. The setting is beautiful with lovely cabins, a restaurant, cozy bar and swimming pool. The food was very good, the staff were very attentive and worked hard to ensure we had a memorable stay. We saw many birds and animals and our guide was so knowledgeable and had a deep love and understanding of his environment. Wha memorable experience for anyone who loves nature.
