From our arrival, it was clear that his leadership philosophy centers on proactive guest care. Mr. Mahakumara's personal touch was evident throughout - from his daily rounds delivering room service to his genuine interest in ensuring guests' comfort, both within the hotel and during their time in Zurich. As someone who leads my own organization, I found his management style both inspiring and educational. The coordination between departments was flawless, reflecting Mr. Mahakumara's exceptional training protocols. His team, from front desk to housekeeping, maintained immaculate standards with remarkable consistency. Their ability to anticipate rather than merely react to guest needs demonstrated the superior service culture he has established. A particular incident stands out: when a fellow guest accidentally left their iPad before a same-day flight, Mr. Mahakumara personally arranged international shipping to America. We’re a family of 3 and We stayed for 5 nights. The hotel was cozy and superb in every aspect. the staff were very kind and welcoming. the room was big enough and clean, not to mention the beautiful view of lake Zürich from the balcony. breakfast was fresh and diverse Room service was fast The hotel provided us everything we need for our child to make us comfortable I would definitely recommend staying at Alex Lake hotel. For me, Alex Lake will be my first choice whenever i am visiting Zürich again
