We loved everything about this property! The lodge was secluded, clean and well kept. It was great having a kitchen space to prepare some of our own meals. The pool was a lovely oasis too! We even got to enjoy a morning watching the monkeys from our porch.

The location was private and stunning.... wildlife all around the property and visible from our rooms! The staff was amazing- Monica, George, and Giovani are wonderful, caring people who work tirelessly to make guests' experiences simply amazing.

Everything was amazing ! :) thanks for your hospitality, we felt like family. The white water rafting was really fun and safe. The night walk was stunning with a great guide. The activites are relatively cheap and great. We highly recommend the lodge. We also saw a caoti and tucans at the lodge!

Very comfortable and big bed, great shower, delicious breakfast, very clean and exceptionally welcoming hosts. They have a lot of info on activities in the area and the local flora and fauna. But most of all they make you feel at home and safe. I would definitely come again to spend some relaxing days at Raya in Matapalo! The location is just perfect, everything in walking distance 7‘ to the beach, 5‘ to famous and awesome Matapalo Supper Club Restaurant, another restaurant and the supermarket. 20‘ to the bus stop. And on the other side of the road: Angelo who takes you on trips with his lovely horses.

Spacious rooms, secure car park. Sloth snoozing in trees outside … wow factor! Enjoyable stop after drive from Alajuela. Having been to Manuel Antonio, would definitely recommend the beach here - no crowds, and no hassle. Relaxed atmosphere and excellent restaurant next door. Recommend.
