Hotels with Pools in Pombas

We loved the location, as we were able to do two excellent hikes. (One from the hotel, Boca de Figueiral to Cha de Padre Cima, which we highly recommend. We also hiked to the crater. ) The restaurant was wonderful, we enjoyed the. vegan offerings on several nights. Breakfast was ample and delicious. The staff were exceptional, answering every question and assisting with any requests. We highly recommend this hotel.

A perfect 10/10 experience. The atmosphere is calm with breathtaking views, delicious local cuisine, and a wonderful pool. The staff were incredibly kind, and the owner was especially welcoming. It’s inspiring to see his commitment to the community. Note: It is a scenic 10–15 minute walk from the main road to the hotel.

I absolutely loved staying at Residencial Lela d’Fermina and next time I’m back in Santo Antão this is the place I’ll stay at, no doubt. The owner, Mr Antonio, is a gem of a person, and the whole staff was really nice and kind. The room was spacious and had everything I needed — I’d probably just add a kettle. The restaurant across the road was also such a lovely experience, the view is amazing, the owner is so kind, and the food is delicious and so cheap. After the craziness of Mindelo I really appreciated the opportunity to rest at this peaceful place, surrounded by mountains, and chilling by the pool. Antonio is really knowledgeable about the surrounding area and he made sure I was taken care of the entirety of my stay. Muito obrigado, Sr António! Everything!! The location, the rooms, the facilities, lovely Gods that made us feel like home, the owner, who even wasn’t there, was very helpful!

Amazing place to stay - beautiful views in every direction. Rooms are simple, but comfortable and great value for the price. The included breakfast was a good start to the day and the dinners served communally for a reasonable charge were very filling and locally sourced. It was nice to meet other travelers - not as easy to do these days. The owner is a dynamo who can take care of everything while switching between French, English, German and Portuguese.

Fantastic views, fantastic scenery, exceptional hosting form the owner Martini and the whole staff. They are kind helpful and you can have an excellent socialising if you fancy in the evening. The fact they have a dog and two cats on the property to offer their positive attitude is even better.

Spacious rooms, private bathroom, friendly staff and daily breakfast was great. The location was also within walking distance to great restaurants.

We loved everything about this apartment! It's roomy, homey, so well appointed, has a beautiful outdoor patio off the living room with comfortable seating, a place to dine, and a fantastic view of the ocean. Upstairs is an entire floor with pool, laundry facilities, dining area, lounge chairs, etc. Total luxury while feeling like home. The manager was super responsive, helpful in arranging tours with an excellent guide...couldn't have been better!
