Really nice hotel in the middle of nowhere but near to the major cities in the Ruhr area. Ideal for a weekend getaway to find some peace. The staff is friendly and professional. Good à la carte restaurant with some good options and reasonable prices. They had an indoor sauna and swimming pool which we didn't try.

Really delicious breakfast buffet - not the largest, but the quality was super. Nice breakfast room, quickly attended to by the staff. The swimming pool is large, clean, and nicely organized for towels (available, no hassle). Good, small sized work out room and two clean and super hot saunas. Friendly check in. Friendly bar service, decent food. Room was clean and spacious, as we booked a superior double room....was worth the extra. Coffee / 1 beer / 1 wine / nuts / 2 bottles of water, and 2x juice included. Parking was a very reasonable 6 euros per day. We had a car, but there is a bus stop at the end of the parking lot. Nothing was a hassle....everything went smoothly.
