We enjoyed our stay with Nelson at Las Palmas. He, and his young manager Victor, was so helpful and friendly. Our cabin was neat, clean and very comfortable and the pool was great. Breakfasts and the dinner we enjoyed at the Finca were delicious. Don’t hesitate to reserve here! You won’t regret it!! Milton, a local taxi driver, was very reliable and will take you to town for $5.

The owners were super friendly, the pool, the hot tub, the sauna, all the infrastructure were awesome. The included breakfast was great. Parking secure, good wi-fi, and the Hosteria is close to the place I had to visit. Recommended A+!

Hosteria Flor de Canela was our perfect resort in Puyo. We were on the edge of the Amazon in our rustic lodge. The night sounds were full of natural music from the frogs, birds & insects. Our lodge screens kept us protected from unwelcome insects. The property was very well maintained with a clean pool & hot tub. Workers were constantly trimming trees and keeping plants & flowers in top condition.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Even though it is a bit remote, it still has many comforts. It had a beautiful pool on extensive grounds that are well maintained. The staff was very attentive whenever we needed something. We just ate there, since it was quite a drive to get to other options, and the food was good. There's a large number of cool Oropendola birds that hang out there, making an unearthly wake up call at sunrise, which I found quite pleasant. It took us a little extra effort to find because Google Maps doesn't show the dirt road that must be traveled to get there, so we had to do a little more exploration to find it. There's a sign on the main road which shows the dirt road turnoff. Eventually you reach a very small wooden bridge leading to a pair of concrete tracks into the jungle, so the road is minimal on the final approach to the resort.

The whole staff is very kind, helpful and keeps everything clean. They also have a delicious menu, a hot jacuzzi and an awesome pool. This is our second time staying there and we will be super happy to come back in another time. We love Max the dog and all the birds you can hear during the day.
