Maria José, our host, went above and beyond with her warm hospitality, generously sharing her time and local recommendations. Her homemade pastries at breakfast were simply delicious—a special touch that made each morning something to look forward to. The location is ideal, nestled in a charming town alongside a natural preserve bordering the River Duero. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the excellent hiking opportunities, while families will find plenty to enjoy. We were pleasantly surprised to discover fine dining options nearby, and the proximity to Toro—just a 15-minute drive away—makes this a perfectly positioned base for exploring the region (and its wines).
