We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Yatule and would strongly recommend it to friends and family visiting Fiji. Yatule was almost always peaceful quiet which we loved. The bures are well spaced out from the neighbouring ones to give you a reasonable sense of privacy with a good partition and thick walls separating you from your neighbours. The common areas were never packed. There are 2 pools here, on each occasion we went swimming we had the pool of our choice either all to ourselves or max with one other person/couple. Our room, a Deluxe beachfront bure, was immaculate and well maintained. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the air-conditioning worked well. It was so nice to sit on the verandah and watch the waves crashing onto Natadola Beach. There are two restaurants onsite. Na Ua is where the complimentary breakfast was served which was a fair quality, for lunch and dinner it has a mostly Chinese inspired menu with some Western and Indian options. The food was generally above average for a Fijian resort, the Chinese options being the best made. Yuhi Robata Grill is the onsite Japanese restaurant open only for dinner. It is very good and had a Japanese chef, we loved the gyoza and the karaage, the walu teriyaki was also nice. The bar staff were always friendly and even made me a custom cocktail which was delicious! The staff in general were very accommodating, always smiling and happy to help. Yatule met and in some ways exceeded our expectations, we would gladly return for a future visit to Fiji.

Likuri Island was incredible and a "world away" from life in America. Up front, the staff and people were amazingly welcoming and ensured for us all a remarkable South Pacific Island stay with enthusiasm and grace. The situation was very unique with a boat ride to the Island along a wide river arriving at the very remote feeling island. The bures with grass roofs fit well in the palm trees. It was a very relaxing experience with lovely Fijian music playing and fun opportunities to learn things that all Fijians learn: palm weaving into baskets, tree climbing for coconuts, line fishing and medicinal plant walks. Food was plentiful and delicious and the local dancing, fire walking, fire dancing programs (tourists from the UK, America, India, Australia) all agreed were the best they had ever experienced anywhere...and done by our own amazing staff. Incredible. A few cyclonic type storms blew in which only added to the experience. This was an amazing experience in a natural South Pacific Island setting and we loved it!

The resort is lovely and in a beautiful location. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The horizon pool is amazing. Loved Happy Hour-free drinks and canapés whilst watching the spectacular sunsets. Caring and attentive staff are the icing on the cake.
