It was an excellent location for getting out and about as well as a great space for relaxing with the pool and large grounds. Trees in the garden and plenty of sun umbrellas meant you could find a shady spot. The hammock and sun loungers were also enjoyed for relaxing in the sun. Having a well equipped ensuite for each bedroom made it really convenient for our group. The kitchen facilities ( dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer, cooker and microwave) were also very good and made self catering easy. The choice of an inside and outside dining space was great and we used both areas a lot as well as the BBQ. Having 3 external doors out it made it feel spacious with 6 adults especially as two of the bedrooms could be accessed without going through the kitchen which was useful when using the outside pool. The bedroom windows and doors also had black out blinds which helped to keep them cool in the heat. We really enjoyed our holiday in Normandy and were so glad we found Ndila Cottage.

The gîte was private, well equipped, very clean. The hosts thought about heating and fans for when it was cold. We had our own verandah , Sun loungers and sun shade. It was very quiet although all gites were rented out. The swimming pool was very clean and plenty of Sun loungers. Pétanque available and bbqs for each gite. The hosts were perfect; they were available when needed but left us to ourselves otherwise. Fatouville-Grestain is an idyllic place- two restaurants- ‘L’eau Vive’ and one other. So many places easily accessible from there. Honfleur just down road, Deauville and its beautiful beach 1/2 hr away and a lovely, peaceful retreat the ancient abbey of Grestain just down road. Supermarkets only a few miles away also- Lidl, Aldi, Intermarché and lots of epiceries.

The gite itself was lovely. Nice outdoor eating area and shared pool which our daughter loved. Host quick to respond to questions. 10 minute drive to Honfleur. Clean and lots of cutlery and cooking equipment.

This is an absolute magical hidden gem. We had 2 very calm relaxing days traveling around this area and loved coming back to relax in the spa. The hotel is located outside q beautiful town, making it very calm, perfect to get away and rest. Room and bathroom were very spacious and modern. One of the highlights was the breakfast with fresh products. Since we arrived we felt welcomed as in a family.

perfect as a base to explore Normandy with a dog and an electric car. charging is available right outside. there is also a decent bakery close by.

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect The host Alexandra is so delightful. The setting , the house and all the facilities were perfect . Alexandra’s attention to detail goes beyond any other cottage we have stayed in . It has been the most wonderful break for relaxing, just sad to be leaving so soon. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a relaxing break in the most beautiful setting .

There is a free parking with lots of places. The swimming pool was nice a warm. The breakfast had plenty of food to choose from. The lobby has football table and sitting area is nice, seems like it was recently renovated. The family room has 2 comfortable single beds and 1 double bed.

Christian was very welcoming and informative, the apartment was excellent, everything you needed was there, lovely quiet location, excellent pool, the walk into Hornfleur was lovely about 30mins but all up hill on the way back so very good exercise 😀. Hot water and shower were also excellent, bed very comfortable apart from the pillows which were square and not very comfortable for me.Nothing to complain about at all a very good quality apartment.
