The location is in a very beautiful stretch of countryside, near lavender and poppy fields and gorgeous rolling hills. The proprietor was sociable and funny and we talked for a long time in both French and English, and he served us delicious local wine and crackers.

Great property and with a wonderful hostess, Corinne. She created a very inviting atmosphere that allowed us to interact with other guests. We had a wonderful experience including a delicious dinner with the other guests. We would definitely return next time we are in the area, but also stay longer.

What an amazing place to stay, and what gracious hosts were Frederic and Sabine! Pictures of the property are gorgeous, but they do not do it justice. It is breathtaking. There are acres and acres for long walks along with the beautiful guest house and tower. We stayed in the tower, and it was amazing. We had two separate bedrooms, and a lounge area where we could sit on a lovely leather couch or in a leather club chair and watch television or just relax. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower and the bath products were quite nice. The main house has two main rooms where guests can sit and relax. The walls of the house were built hundreds of years ago, but the furnishings and the restoration are modern, have a lovely mix of traditional and contemporary furnishings and art. There is so much to look at and so much to enjoy both inside and out. They have bikes at your disposal to ride around the property. They also have a piano and foosball in the shared space, as well as a lovely heated saltwater swimming pool. A traditional French breakfast was served on the patio, and croissants, jams and jellies, fresh squeezed orange juice, and fresh cherries from the property were amazing. The location is ideal for exploring many medieval villages, as well as Lake Saint Croix. The Côte d’Azur as well as the Verdun Gorge are easy day trips. And then there are the large lavender fields, which are all around the country roads nearby. What a peaceful, wonderful stay. We cannot wait to come back

Stephen and his wife Catherine did wonderful job to welcome us to their beautiful sanctuary. Stephen is Michelin star chef and we had great opportunity to try his homemade ice cream, which was one of its kind. Our stay included continental breakfast, again ,it was wonderful! We would recommend this place 100% if you are looking for somewhere unique and experience countryside living with excellent host who will go out of his way to help you and recommend you things to do in and around the place.

The staff was very friendly. We received a room upgrade which we did not expect :). The room was nice, and the hotel is decorated in an old style which I like. The garden is very beautiful and the pool was great. You are very close by a nice beach and beautiful gorge you can swim/canoo into, like a smaller version of the Verdon gorges. I think there was no lift so something to consider when you are struggling with stairs.

The breakfast was lovely. The room was small but cozy and clean. Parking was easy and free. The hotel is situated very close to the lake and to the start of hikes. There is a small shop next door which is convenient too. There was a lovely pool to use.
