We had a fantastic stay! The place was exceptionally clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The owners were incredibly kind and easy to communicate with. It is the perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic two days at Rathmell with my parents and 9 year old daughter. The accommodation was beautiful and high quality, and the apartment had everything you needed. I can't think of anything they didn't have. The swimming pool was a big hit with my daughter and just a short walk from the apartment. My daughter also loved the hanging chair, hours of fun! We had a drink in the pub and made use of the playground, although we did not eat at the pub as we had other plans. Easy to get to and locals friendly. Would definitely return.

We were booked into a smaller room which was not big enough for us. Super staff upgraded us for a small extra cost to newly refurbished room which was much bigger. I enjoyed the gym and the pool and the sauna/steam room.

A very friendly feel to this hotel and a lovely welcome from the staff on reception, Paul, Ellie and Brenna. I had accidentally brought the wrong charging equipment for my phone, having travelled from abroad, and reception very kindly offered to charge my dying phone until I received the correct plug later that day! The decor was lovely, impeccably clean everywhere, comfortable rooms, and chilled drinking water, both fizzy and still, available free from water points throughout the hotel. I opted for the breakfast in the hotel and all I can say is Wow! Everything you could want from a breakfast buffet, served fresh and hot, everything clean, and again lovely staff - especially Deanna who made me feel very welcome. I also went down to the spa area. A nice sized swimming pool, two hot tubs, a steam room, and the hottest hotel sauna I have experienced - wonderful! And everything again was kept really clean. On my last evening I had a meal in the bar. Again another nice welcoming atmosphere. The food was good too and piping hot. Good service.

It's only a camping place with mobile homes, but our part was nicer and very comfortable. Perfect patrons welcoming the guests personally. A good place to start any trip to the Longridge i.e. the Tolkien Trail. A nice park opposite and beautiful views.
