Our stay was superb. Nothing was too much trouble and Ed our host was fantastic. Our room, Lover Buck Lodge was fantastic. The bathroom was spacious with a walk in shower and plenty of clean towels daily. The bed was the low type and very comfortable. There was a room heater, fan, hairdryer, iron and board. The breakfast hamper was full of items and sat on top of a mini fridge containing bottled milk and water. There was also a coffee maker and kettle with plenty of teas, coffees, sugar and biscuits. The wooden flooring added to the room and there was a small built in wardrobe plus a drawer unit. Due to the opening hours, we could only eat at the Lower Buck on one evening of ours 3 night stay. The food was superb from a good menu and the bar was fully stocked with spirits and ales All in all our stay receives 10/10. We shall definitely be back.

Clitheroe is a lovely, interesting town.

Clitheroe is a lovely, interesting town. Lovely shops and eateries. The Castle is a must visit, free to look around, the museum has a charge but worth a visit. Clitheroe has events all year round so worth checking what’s on. There’s also a Boar Park which is fabulous for a day out , take your own picnic or eat there. With other places of interest near by it’s definitely a great place to visit.

Clitheroe is a lovely place.

Clitheroe is a lovely place. Very picturesque and very quaint. It is easy to get to by train. The food at the beer hall was lovely and would recommend the steak pie and the fish and chips. I didn't have time to visit the castle but I believe it was worth a look.

The Ribble Valley is beautiful.

The Ribble Valley is beautiful. Locals are polite, friendly and welcoming. Visited the area for a wedding and wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend the Red Pump Inn, Aspinall Arms, Browsholme Hall in particular. Both Clitheroe and Whalley were good places to visit for shops and services.

Beautifully maintained property in a perfect location very close to Clitheroe town centre. Its about 3 mins walk through the church yard at the end of the lovely quiet street. Spotless clean and high quality furishings throughout. The beds are so comfortable,, we all had great nights sleeps. There is a very well equipped kitchen to include a dish washer., washing machine and microwave. There are lots of utensils. crockery and cutlery. Thanks you for your hospitality Phillip and Theresa.
