The staff are an absolute credit to the hotel, friendly doesn't even come into it, they make you feel like a close friend more than a guest

Very clean room, everything worked, except TV didn't like PM, but better reception Morning. Didn't have bedside light, that would have been better.

The Station was great. It was just a “walk away” from everything. Across from the Railway Station and Bus stops. The room was very quaint, very comfortable and very clean. They provided a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. There is also a kettle, mugs and a selection of teas, coffee, milk and biscuits. The hosts were very nice, friendly and easy to talk too. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location, superb hotel. Never green before but we were amazed with the old fashioned decor as you enter the hotel. Room was excellent as was dinner. Bar staff very friendly.

The new restaurant was fabulous with its contemporary tropical decor. The fish and chips were cooked to perfection. The fish was fresh and flakey. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious. Restaurant service was excellent. My room had a great view of the golf course. The bed was very comfortable. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. The room was very clean. You need to bring your own flannel as these are not provided in the bathroom.

Our stay was superb. Nothing was too much trouble and Ed our host was fantastic. Our room, Lover Buck Lodge was fantastic. The bathroom was spacious with a walk in shower and plenty of clean towels daily. The bed was the low type and very comfortable. There was a room heater, fan, hairdryer, iron and board. The breakfast hamper was full of items and sat on top of a mini fridge containing bottled milk and water. There was also a coffee maker and kettle with plenty of teas, coffees, sugar and biscuits. The wooden flooring added to the room and there was a small built in wardrobe plus a drawer unit. Due to the opening hours, we could only eat at the Lower Buck on one evening of ours 3 night stay. The food was superb from a good menu and the bar was fully stocked with spirits and ales All in all our stay receives 10/10. We shall definitely be back.

We stayed at Theodore House as a group of friends, following a walk up Pendle Hill during the day. It is in a stunning location being situated in the grounds of Stoneyhurst. The staff at Theodore House were incredibly helpful both before and during the stay, ensuring that our needs were accomodated and helping organise local taxis to Clitheroe for the evening. The accomodation was clean, modern and a great choice for a group stay, with breakfast being included an added bonus. Great value for money and I would highly recomend.

Clean, nice, tidy hotel, friendly stuff, excelent breakfast.

Breakfast was extra to the price and was very nice. The whole idea of staying in an Ancient Abbey was not on our radar and so we were pleasantly surprised when we got there. The Abbey was surrounded by ruins which made very interesting and just across the fence was this 48 arch brick viaduct, absolutely awesome. The Whalley village was just down the road.
