Staff and service was excellent. We got a flat tire one night and they were able to assist us with booking AA the next morning. The property was gorgeous and tucked away in a quiet town. The room was spacious, warm, and clean. We were able to drive to our room to drop off/pick up our heavy luggage. Breakfast was delicious and they served generous portions. We enjoyed our walk around the property and the garden tour.

Everything! Peaceful & relaxing setting. Helpful staff. Food presentation was amazing. Lovely spa and treatments. Nothing like some of the negative reviews.

Impressive place to stay with old England style interiors I saw in movies only. List of facilities is impressive - there is even library you can read books :-) It has very nice restaurant, bar, pool etc. Staff was very friendly an helping.

1. Great Location - proximity to the lock and river for swimming and walks 2. Very spacious - 6 bed rooms and 5 bathroom (very spacious bathrooms) 3. Outside lawns are wonderful both at the front and the back 4. Bathrooms and linen very clean (but also the ONLY thing we were satisfied with from a cleanliness perspective)
