What a Find! I booked this stay as a surprise birthday gift for my husband and it definitely did not disappoint! Danae Suites is such a hidden gem. Tucked away from the busy tourist spots, down some quiet little alleyways, you’ll finally land at this amazing place. Sure, your taxi might not love the route (you’ll probably need to walk a bit), but once you get there—wow. 1. Total Peace and Quiet This isn’t Fira or Oia. No crowds, no noise, no one walking past your jacuzzi while you try to relax. It’s super chill and peaceful—exactly the kind of vibe you want on a real getaway. 2. The Rooms Are Wildly Good Seriously, the rooms are next-level. Bright and airy in the daytime, cool and cozy at night. We stayed in the deluxe suite and it was 100% worth the splurge. It felt like our own little house. And watching the sunset from the jacuzzi? Unreal. Luxury without feeling stuffy. 3. The Staff? Incredible. Honestly, the people here are amazing. I’ve been lucky to visit a lot of hotels, and the service here is easily some of the best I’ve ever had. Super professional if you want that, or totally down-to-earth and friendly if that’s more your style. You can tell they genuinely care about your experience. 4. Breakfast Hits the Spot Fresh, local, beautifully done—and it tastes as good as it looks. I’ll 100% be back. Early May was the perfect time to visit, and huge thanks to Vasiliki, Chris, and the rest of the team (even if I don’t know all your names—you’re awesome).

Staff were very helpful and gave valuable information about Santorini and what to see. Good location in Oia, close walking distance but away from the super busy areas. Beautiful view from the pool of the ocean.

the location was an A+! I love walking, and everything was within walking distance, which was perfect for me. The breakfast was also an A+—I really enjoyed it!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The room and the property's overall spaces were stunning, particularly the large rooftop which offered breathtaking views, alongside the beautiful pools and the relaxing jacuzzi. The level of cleanliness was impeccable throughout the property, with brand new linens and wonderful amenities that made us feel right at home. ​What truly sets this place apart is the staff. They provided a genuine 5-star service, characterized by absolute discretion and excellent support for any request we had. Communicating with the concierge was incredibly easy and efficient. Finally, the dining experience was top-notch; we thoroughly enjoyed the very good breakfast, as well as the flawless service at both the restaurant and the bar. Highly recommended!

Fabulous boutique hotel. Just on the outskirts of Oia so no need to climb up and down steeps with luggage. Had it own pool. Beach across the road. Lovely relaxing breakfast in the morning, evening meal also a must. Sergios was an outstanding host and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. They really do bend over backwards to ensure your stay is enjoyable. We had a car so it was handy to explore the whole island. They have off street parking.

Absolutely fabulous room / apartment with an independent bedroom with a double room (and an incredible view) and another double room in the 'studio kitchen' area. The view from the terrace was amazing, and the front desk (Marina) was so friendly and helpful - it was a lovely stay, and I would thoroughly recommend to anyone else wanting to stay on the cliff in a the cave style properties in Oia.

Everything was perfect. Rooms are very cleen and well-equipted. Host are very nice and helpfull. We spent there great time!

Everything was beyond expectations. The location is lovely, beautiful maintained in every detail, but what truly sets this place apart are the wonderful people behind it. They make you feel like home the moment you arrive. Their hospitality is exceptional - very authentic. Angie offered us great tips in terms of nearby restaurants, activities that enriched our stay. We had an excellent experience.

I adored this property . I stayed in the honey moon sweet , picked only because it was all that was left but I wasn’t disappointed, The staff were fantastic . Even a doggy bag breakfast when I had to leave early . Great central location, close to bus depot . It’s very new , and very tastefully done . Breakfast was good also .

Spacious, comfortable, airy and clean rooms. Eco-friendly air conditioning system is a great and positive practice for sustainability. Staff are always attentive and available.

As a travel photographer who has been travelling professionally around the world for years, I can honestly say that Maria’s Place is one of the most genuinely memorable stays I’ve had. I honestly don’t even know where to start. The location could not be better — only a short 5–6 minute walk from the caldera and Oia’s iconic views, yet peaceful, quiet and with the huge advantage of easy parking, which in Santorini is priceless. I travelled with my parents during this trip and this place made everything so comfortable for us. My father cannot walk long distances easily, so having such easy access without endless stairs completely changed the experience for him. My mother is extremely demanding when it comes to cleanliness — the kind of person who notices everything — and even she was impressed. The room was spotless and maintained to an exceptional standard. The breakfast was honestly outstanding. Fresh homemade products every morning, so much variety, and many ingredients coming directly from their own garden. It felt authentic, local and full of care rather than something generic made for tourists. But what truly makes this place special are the people. Anna was absolutely amazing from the first moment. Warm, professional, incredibly kind and genuinely passionate about the island. She knows Santorini inside out and helped us discover beautiful places and experiences we would never have found otherwise. You can immediately feel the heart behind this place. After years of travelling internationally and staying in countless hotels and accommodations, I can say that Maria’s Place has something rare today: authenticity, warmth and soul. I honestly could not recommend it enough.

The location, facilities, friendliness, and even service were perfect! If you're travelling with a group to Santorini, I highly recommend it. The owner of the property was really nice and helped us a lot with everything from taxis to yachts in Santorini. We are so grateful and we take with us priceless memories because of this warmth and help.

Location right in Oia a bus shuttle from Fiera the Capital. The beautiful Cadeira Sea right near by with all the shops and restaurant. You will wee the most beautiful sunset from the roof top of this hotel. You will not have to fight the crowd. Just get your camera and all set.

This is truly one of the nicest locations you can stay in Oia the views are absolutely stunning and unforgettable. If you're into picturesque scenery, this place is a dream. I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Santorini. The hotel is spotlessly clean, with great attention to detail throughout. The host was very welcoming and easy to reach, always available to help with anything we needed. A nice touch was the breakfast at a nearby local restaurant, which offered a great variety of delicious options and made our mornings even more enjoyable. Overall, a peaceful and visually beautiful stay in a prime spot in Oia. Would absolutely return!

This hotel has the best view of Santorini. You can watch the blue dome where people wait in long lines to take pictures while drinking wine at the Jacuzzi. You can communicate smoothly with Elena, the host, through WhatsApp. She responded to my questions and requests very quickly and kindly. Choosing this hotel was really the best choice. :D

The hotel has an excellent location. You can wake up and enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the Aegean Sea directly in bed. The decoration style is simple, elegant and high-end, with comfortable and cozy rooms. All the staff are friendly and warm. Special thanks to receptionist Anna, she is very kind and considerate, making me feel warm and welcomed throughout the stay. The food in the hotel is exquisite and delicious. It’s a wonderful and satisfying experience, highly recommended!

This place is amazing – the view, the hot tub, the outdoor seating, and the apartment itself. We had a wonderful time. The apartment is located right in the city center, close to everything. However, it’s peaceful here, and the views were simply beautiful.
