A lovely renovated Cretan house/villa in a beautiful quiet setting. Beautiful pool and spacious outdoor cooking/eating area. The rooms were clean and comfortable, all with air-conditioning, the kitchen well equipped. The host responded quickly to requests. My family loved their stay at the villa! And as the villa is just on the edge of the village and private, the children were able to be children, ie noisy in the pool! 10 minutes walk to the village square and amazing views.

Everything was perfect the room was clean, the cleaning lady was there every day. The staff was perfect and very friendly.

Good accommodation. We stayed just one night because that was our plan. They have a nice pool and for sure it is a place with many facilities Recomanded.

Theo at reception provided excellent service and helped me when I needed assistance with a late checkout and transfer details. The modern, clean, and comfortable superior room was great. Right on the beach with a seaview. Cleaning staff were very happy, smiley, and said hello every time they saw us. Property was clean and well maintained. Restaurant staff were helpful and cleared the table promptly, very friendly too. Table service was good and staff were more than happy to help. Food was tasty, diverse, with plenty of options. All covered and met hygiene standards. Breakfast on the heated rooftop terrace was lovely. Coffee and tea were offered to you at your table. The pools, especially the rooftop one, were a great addition. Visot to Rethimno was lovely whith a beautiful natural water lake nearby. Rental cars right next to hotel.

Beautiful place in an astonishing location. Very private, clean, well cared for villa. Suited our needs of driving around small villages in the mountainous region of Crete. Arrival instructions were clear and we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend staying here if you want to drive around and explore the south of Crete as well as what local villages in the mountains have to offer for an authentic Cretan experience.

The house is very comfortable and high standard, the location has superb views of the sea, the mountains and the rural surroundings. It is very well located in one of Crete’s mos beautiful areas, it has a beautiful pool, and last but not least: the hosts are lovely and caring people

A beautiful villa in a beautiful location, surrounded by traditional Greek stone houses and Greek people, not tourists! House is well laid out, nice and cool with air con in each room, plus great pool/outdoor bbq area. And Ioannis our host was so incredibly kind and helpful, even greeted us at 2am when we first arrived as our flight was delayed and let us stay on late on our final day as we had a late flight. Just perfect. Nothing was too much trouble - we will definitely come again. Thanks again Ioannis.

This is a very quiet location away from main towns, with plenty of local tavernas and shops a few minutes away. Katerina the host, or should I say superhost was lovely. All communications were prompt and clear, and she was very responsive. She sent me lots of details about beaches, tavernas and shops to browse at my leisure.The house itself and facilities are first class. There was plenty of kitchen equipment to cook on the occasions wr did. The pool was lovely as was the hot tub. I cannot fault any part of my stay here. The little extras on arrival and leaving were highly appreciated. All I can say is..FANTASTIC!!

We were not the luckiest with the weather as it was a bit windy, chilly and rainy most of the time but that didn't stop us from having a good and relaxing time at Ktima Edem. The house is perfect in every way. It is very well-equipped with everything you need. The swimming pool (deep and heated). The beds are very comfortable. Lots of storage space in the rooms. The mountain views on one side, and the sea views on the other are magnificent. The house is in a more remote area but we wanted privacy and quietness. Though, renting a car is definitely a must. It's a bit remote but we wanted something private and quiet. The host was very welcoming and friendly. Also easy to reach out to if we needed anything. The yummy cake was a very nice touch (thank you!). We already miss it and would love to come back in the future. We highly recommend this place to couples, families, that are looking for a nice relaxing time.
