I liked that even i was late for my Chek-In (at 19:00) the nice woman still arrived to let me in, luckily my girlfriend could say 2 words in Italian otherwise communication would be hard. The Hotel itself, room was very small, but fair enough, goodfor one night sleep. They allowed us to park our car charge free for around 2hours next day, tjat was very nice from them.

The location on the lake is very nice, calm and peaceful. The Hotel as every thing you need. The Town is one of those gems along the lake with just enough atmosphere of an evening but not over busy. We travelled by car and stored it in the Hotel garage which was secure and under the hotel. Pre book your slot. The staff were fabulous, helpful and friendly. We did enjoy the wine tasting experience in the hotels wine cellar. Some lovely wines to bring home. Definitely go back.

Beautiful view up on the hillside with an amazing staff. Interesting funicular up to the rooms if needed. Peaceful and so quite with lovely balconies showing some of the best views on the lake . MATTIA WAS A LIFESAVER and Elena and Veronica were just as amazing. I would stay just for the staff alone. The TV's were in the process of being upgraded, but honestly we don't go to Maggiore to watch TV in our room. Price to quality ratio is there. Obviously not a 5* resort but the room was lightly furnished and very comfortable and I will be coming back . The huge decks offer views that are unsurpassed.
