A superb place to stay while in Formia

Everything about this property is absolutely stunning- the location, the room, the facilities, the restaurant and the hosts. Beautiful room with huge balcony overlooking the sea. No detail has been spared. The air conditioning unit is hidden away, so no noise or fan heat on the balcony. There’s even tiny led lights in the bathroom so at night yiu can see what you’re doing without the need for turning on the lights. The restaurant was open, been though we were the only guests and the food was amazing and very reasonably priced. There was a coffee maker in the room but the hosts also provided coffee and pastries in the morning. Ample parking on site, can not find fault with this place. The pool and gardens were spectacular.

Paola and her family were so kind and helpful. Never intrusive but always available if we needed anything. We loved the fact that the pool was available so early in the season, even if it was cold it was bliss to be able to dip! The view from the garden is absolutely beautiful in the evenings- we loved eating on the terrace with it behind us. The beds were super comfortable and the gorgeous kitchen was a joy to cook in- so well appointed with everything you could think of to use if we wanted to. We also loved the house’s location in Formia, which meant we could jump on a train to lots of places in Italy.

Such a beautiful property in a great location with beautifully decorated rooms. Great sea views. Spotlessly clean. The staff here are so friendly. Lovely buffet breakfast with something for everyone. We found out this was once residency to Queen Helena which would have been a beautiful place to live.

These apartments are truly 100 out of 10. The location is fantastic — just steps from the sea. The interior design is stunning and filled us with joy at every turn. The terrace is incredibly cozy — it’s hard to leave it! There’s also a grill on the terrace, which we happily used — it made our evening even more special. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with everything you might need, and the tableware is beautiful and high quality. We loved the comfortable mattress in the main bedroom. Parking on the private territory right next to the apartment was very convenient, and the private gate leading directly to the beach was a wonderful bonus. The small pool and the children’s play area looked great — perfect for families (unfortunately we couldn’t use them during our short stay). We were also lucky with the weather — despite the end of October, it was incredibly sunny, and we could even swim in the sea and enjoy a true taste of late summer. The hostess was very friendly and flexible with check-in and check-out times — a big thank you for that!

The apartments, along with the entire building, are brand new with a modern interior design and equipped with all the conveniences. The beds are incredibly comfortable with perfect mattresses and pillows, and the air conditioning and fully equipped kitchen make it a truly comfortable stay. The presence of a pool in the courtyard adds an extra touch to a perfect holiday experience. The hosts, Sara, Stefano, and Luciana, are incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring every guest feels cared for. We are deeply grateful to them for their warm hospitality. A special thanks to the "cleanliness fairy" for maintaining the daily tidiness in our room. The beaches are just a 5-minute walk away, and their unique omega shape makes them ideal for families with young children. We highly recommend visiting the nearby beaches of Sperlonga and Serapo. Our stay at Domus Mamurra was wonderful, and we are already looking forward to returning. We highly recommend this beautiful location to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!
