We had a wonderful family stay at Fontanassa! The pool area was absolutely lovely – spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxing under the sun. The whole place had a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, which made it easy to unwind and enjoy quality time together. Our rooms were big, spotless, and very comfortable – just what we needed. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a fantastic agriturismo experience – we’ll definitely be back!

Everything! Felt like I was staying with my family. Got to have family-style delicious meals for dinners while chatting with the family and learning about Italy, learned how to make wood oven pizza, focaccia, and fresh pasta, and shared some quality time watching Italian music show with them. I got to meet Nonna and on my last day there, she gifted me a hand-woven beanie! I also loved the fact that they had a cleaner coming frequently and not after you leave, so you don’t have to stay in a dirty space, especially if you’re staying longer (I was staying for a week and had my room cleaned multiple times). I learned about Gavi wine and the wine-making process. It was to my surprise that my favorite Gavi wine that I buy in NYC is a private label from their winery and the villa on the sticker is the villa I was staying in! Their wine is delicious and the views from the villa are serene. Now I will have to plan a visit during summer/ harvest season!
