This was the most amazing stay, Andrea and family were accommodating, providing recommendations and making our time in Umbria unforgettable. The dinners and breakfast were truly outstanding with farm to table freshness. Thank you!

Spacious room and very nice and well-equipped bathroom. Excellent and decent value on-site restaurant with full fish (as well as meat) menu. Excellent (quantity and quality) breakfast included in price of room. Pretty rural location. Lots of free parking. Nice staff.

The welcoming was made with a zen approach. We were directly brought into the relaxing atmosphere. The entire place is absolutely fantastic and relaxing, it encourages meditation as well as positivity.

Wonderfully Located up a hill . Lovely views. Great pool . Well maintained. Hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Great Breakfast . All need for a solid start to the day . Easy to get to by car all points of interest . Our ground floor apartment was generous in space .Sufficiently equipped for home cooking . Clean . We loved the pool .

I made the reservation at the last minute, but that was not a reason for me not to be welcomed or anything like that. The room, although small, was comfortable, with modern touches, a very good shower, and even a minibar. In the morning, I walked around the property. Everything is arranged with love and care. I would really love to try both the spa and the pool next time. Dinner was excellent. I especially appreciated the older gentleman who served me — he was wonderful. Breakfast was also very good, although I would have enjoyed a few more homemade sweets and pastries. But overall, everything was truly lovely. Thank you! I already plan to come back in the summer!

Absolutely stunning hilltop location, the agriturismo occupied the small cluster of buildings including the Castello and the old chiesa that comprised the former fortified village of Giomici. The dinner and the breakfast were generous and delicious, which was welcome since we were travelling by bike and approaching Giomici from the SW was a very challenging climb from the valley on a rough, steep gravel track. Going somewhere else for dinner was not an option for us. We had a 2-bedroom suite which was very generously equipped. Travelling by car would allow guests to bring the provisions for self-catering. The rooms were quirky being shaped by the historical structures of the Castello, It felt like a privilege to be staying in such accommodation.

This is literally a castle on a hill surrounded by glorious Umbrian hills. The photos don’t do it justice. Amazing experience! Climbed up the tower to be king of the castle :)

Everything. Great peaceful location, facilities and very clean. Also Filippo and Stefano are great and relaxed hosts. Highly recommended for any type of stay.

We spent one night here during walking Via di Francesco. Everything was perfect - we had dinner and breakfast served outside. The food was homemade and delicious. Amelia was really nice and willing. After dinner we used the pool. Nice place to stay.

It was just.. AWESOME!!! AWESOME staff, location, place, breakfast. Everything. You can't go wrong when choosing Castello di Petroia

The location on top of the hill is great, offering you an amazing view of the collines of Umbria. The appartment is offering all you need for 2 people from the kitchen, to the bedroom & a spartiate bathroom but nevertheless giving you what you need for your stay. Althought no airco system was available, the bedroom remains cool as we could open the window at the evening ( there was a large mosquito net) The pool was also perfect with a nice surrounding.
