We spent one night at Casale Serena and were truly impressed by the peaceful charm of this beautiful place. Surrounded by the stunning Umbrian countryside, the atmosphere was serene and relaxing — a perfect break in the middle of our journey. We were especially grateful that our large dog was warmly welcomed without any issues, and a cozy crib was already prepared for our baby. Despite our late arrival, we were kindly received at the restaurant and served a delicious homemade meal, which made us feel right at home. The rooms were beautifully decorated and full of character, adding to the overall magic of our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the authentic and tranquil side of Umbria.

This is a very nice hotel with a relatively large swimming pool, considering its size. Swimming in the pool was quite refreshing after the whole day's walk throughout Assisi's old town. The hotel is located in a very quiet and pleasant suburb of Assisi (about 10-15 minutes' walk from the Assisi main gate).

The rooms are nicely decorated, modern and exceptionally clean. The entire property is designed beautifully with a magnificent outdoor area. Every staff member was super polite and extremely helpful. We especially enjoyed having breakfast and chatting to the staff in the morning.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Giorgia, the host and owner, is incredibly sweet and makes you feel right at home - it felt more like staying at her own house than a hotel. She even drove us to town and back the night we arrived. The rooms were beautifully decorated with antique furniture and had a well-stocked minibar. The garden and pool were lovely and relaxing, and it was easy to walk into town through her beautiful garden and the nearby escalators. You simply have to visit this place — it deserves more than a ten! I can’t wait to come back someday.

We had a wonderful stay and Podere L’Alfina. Oliva and Stefanie are excellent hosts, we learned about the area and got to great advice on where to eat in Orvieto. We also had a great meal at the Agriturismo. The room is spacious, clean, smell nice. And we liked the design and eye for detail. Well done!👍
