The dinner was exceptional - better than other ryokans where I've stayed that were much more expensive. The indoor baths were very spacious, and the outdoor bath was beautiful and quiet. The room was large, beautiful, and clean.

There was a bus stop right in front of the hotel, which is handy, and there was a convenience store kitty-corner. The bath water was also super hot, which I love. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was very kind. No idea if they spoke English, but there were instructions in English for those who don't speak Japanese. Also, the futons were very thick for a ryoukan-styled hotel. If you're visiting the craft village, I recommend getting to Kagaonsen station the afternoon before and asking the info office about travel and coupons.

Great place to relax! The hotel is beautiful, with plenty of nature around. The onsens are open all day too, so you can always take a relaxing bath. Hotel also had convenient facilities such as a washing machine and a vending machine room, which is great given their isolated location. The food from the restaurant was great too!

Food was amazing, facilities really nice.
