We enjoyed our week long stay at Hazel's. She was easy to get a hold of if we needed anything. The apartment was clean, very comfortable, and we felt at home. Hazel thought of everything to make the place homey and had the kitchen supplies we needed to cook full meals plus a drinking water dispenser. Security was thorough and we felt safe. Some reviewers said they requested to keep your passport but we did not have that problem. They did take a photo of just my passport (since I did the booking) which seems routine with all the places we stayed in Kenya. One note, Hazel only takes cash or Mpesa payment, no credit cards.

Location was great. However, we went during the largest Christian Revival of the year at the Menengai Grounds just below the property. There was singing and preaching throughout the night, but this was no fault of the property location. Just be aware of what is happening in town.

Home away from home! The apartment was the perfect choice for my family; spacious, secure, clean and tidy with a beautiful view. It has all the appliances one needs to make it convenient for a family stay. The hosts are very helpful and readily available to respond to any queries. We had to extend the stay by a day to cover our itinerary and the host was so gracious to extend our stay with some complimentary on the billing! I highly recommend the unit!
