Perfection… what to say? Our best experience until now in Morocco

This is an amazing riad in the heart of the medina. On arrival we were shown to a small but beautiful room and after about 30mins a young man knock on the door to explain we had been given the wrong room and the room we booked was bigger. He was very apologetic and asked if we would like to move . Since we were settled in we decided to stay as the room was very nice, decorated in tradition Moroccan style. The buffet style breakfast is traditional with a good choice and a variety of places available to sit and eat in beautiful surroundings. The two pools are a bonus especially in the hot weather. The staff are very welcoming and helpful.

welcoming and friendly team! We arrived late evening and they were smiling and happy to receive us ! They helped us to order food from outside because the kitchen was closed! I will definitely come back with my wife for: a longer stay !

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Sofia Retreat. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The organic food was fresh, delicious, and one of the highlights of our stay. The accommodation was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax. We also loved the pool—it was beautifully maintained and pleasantly warm, perfect for a refreshing swim at any time of the day. Overall, Casa Sofia Retreat is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable getaway with excellent hospitality, great food, and a lovely atmosphere.

The hotel is beautiful with a great location, and the price is reasonable. The room size is decent and the bathroom is excellent. The place is quiet at night with no noise, which makes the stay very relaxing. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend it.

Our experience at Riad Zyna was excellent from reception all the way through checkout. Abdelhak was incredibly helpful and friendly, answering every question we had with kindness and professionalism. The riad itself is absolutely stunning

Most amazing building we stayed at during our two weeks in Morocco. It's clear it belonged to a very rich family and the owner kept all of its beauty intact. It's main space is a beautifully decorated "living room" that you can see on the picture. Each room has a name of a city in Morocco and has accents from given city. The room we got was the "leader" room that was up to modern standards. This place could could be part of guided tours to show off morrocan architecture while Meknes is in renovation ;)

From the moment we entered, we were warmly welcomed and treated to mint tea. We decided to go to a winery which we could not contact ourselves. Asmae arranged everything, contacting the winery and arranging the taxi. She was wonderful. We were also well looked after by Achraf who was waiting for us on our return and looked after us at breakfast. The Riad is located outside the Medina and well placed for visiting. Hopefully we will return on our next trip to Meknes.

The staff were very friendly and very caring. We really appreciated the hospitality that we found at this hotel. The rooms were super clean and very spacious with mirrors and cupboards for storage. The breakfast buffet was great no complaints.

This riad is so full of history, character and atmosphere. The 4 very generous ground floor bedrooms are accessed from the central courtyard / eating area. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. We were lucky enough to be able to eat there one evening and it was one of the best meals we had during our 2 week stay in Morocco. We tried unsuccessfuly to buy train tickets online from Meknès to Fes and when we expressed concern about not succeeding (it was a busy week with schools children on holiday), the manager Issam offered to go down to the train station himself to buy them for us, although it proved anything but straight forward even for him. Great location with easy access to the Mausoleum, Royal Palace area and Medina

Lovely welcome and superb breakfast. Beautifully presented, calm space with gorgeous garden and lots of spaces to relax. Perfect stay. I highly recommend staying here.
