Very quietly and peacefully spot

Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay for the two nights we had planned, but the brief time we spent was enough to leave a very positive impression. The property is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Joanna and David welcomed us with such kindness and attention, making us feel right at home from the start. Even though we had to leave earlier than expected, we are certain we will return at the next opportunity to fully enjoy everything this place has to offer.

Great rural location. Good value for money. We had meeting in Lisbon port the next day and the location was convenient distance. The pool room is great. The gardens are well maintained. The host was accessible and helpful.

I was amazed at how beautiful and peaceful it was here. I was able to completely unwind and still get my work done. The natural pool is amazing by the way! Highly recommended and congratulations to Patrick and Simone for this piece of Art!

The location is great and was all I needed, but the lack of cleanliness was very disappointing.

This house was just the best. Extremely clean and spacious with a wonderful pool and areas to relax. The view across the pool was beautiful and we enjoyed the fire pit and the barbecue on an evening watching the sunset. Massive living/dining room and even a gym which my son enjoyed. 4 double beds were really comfy with lovely linen and an abundance of towels. The kitchen, and indeed the entire house was very well equipped with everything you could possibly want. Our host, Paula was wonderful, contacting on arrival (and patiently waiting several hours for us while the baggage strike was on.) She gave helpful advice about the local area and even offered to book us a meal at a traditional restaurant nearby. There is a local shop 6 minutes away and several huge supermarkets in Santarém (12 minutes drive.) Location wise, we originally wanted to be closer to Lisbon but as it was, this worked really well. We enjoyed day trips to Lisbon (park and metro from airport), Sintra and Tomar (not to be missed.) In the end we only went to one beach as it was too hard to drag ourselves away from the pool! We had a brilliant stay - thank you so much! 😊
