An absolutely outstanding location — perfectly central for discovering by car the entire breathtaking Northeast Trás-os-Montes region. From Moncorvo and Miranda do Douro to Montesinho, and just moments away from one of the area’s true highlights, the Azibo Natural Park, everything is within easy reach. The hosts are truly exceptional — remarkably gracious, attentive, and genuinely warm, elevating the entire experience to something truly memorable. The gardens and views are nothing short of spectacular — utterly breathtaking, with a rare beauty that leaves a lasting impression. The apartment is impeccable in every sense, fully equipped with every comfort one could wish for. Its refined vintage character, combined with exquisite and thoughtfully curated décor, creates an atmosphere of elegance and charm that is simply unmatched. It was a perfect stay — flawless in every detail and impossible to fault. Highly recommended.
Casa da Fraga
Set in the small rural village of Fereira, this is a beautiful modern accommodation. We had a large comfortable clean room, a nice bed and a good bathroom. Ángela, our host, was a wonderful lovely lady who spoke perfect English and gave lots of good tips. Breakfast was really nice as well, with lots of local specialities. And of course there’s Foxy, the cute dog.
