I like the view of the garden and the mountain. The room was clean and has a timeless design, an eye for detail. Very friendly staff and relaxed location. A great way to enjoy the view was by sitting on the balcony.

We like absolutely everything, very clean, stunnig view from the pool, nice quiet, staff were very helpful and friendly offered cleaning the room after first day. Amazing breakfast, additional towels for the pool. We were meant to stay there one night but decided to stay another as we didn’t want to leave the place.

Excellent value for money. As temperatures were over 40 when we were there the small swimming pool was essential and most welcome. Room very clean and comfortable. The area is beautiful but be aware it is very remote and no restaurants or cafes or shops within walking distance.

I just spent 3 nights at this property in the mountains near arouca. The host Jose was so friendly kind and just an all around great guy. It was a very romantic trip with the spa and I couldn't recommend it highly enough we will be back

This is an absolutely magical house perched on a hill in the middle of a eucalyptus valley—complete seclusion, everything is just perfect. The only minor flaw is that the refrigerator door opens the wrong way, but that's truly the only downside, and it doesn't affect the ideal atmosphere for relaxation at all. We definitely plan to return.

Jorge and Fatima are such kind and generous hosts. The property is very well maintained and the rural environment makes for a very pleasant and serene change after city stays. The guests have 24 hour access to a kitchen which makes some self catering possible.

This place is simply a dream. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, the location is extraordinarily beautiful, the room was spacious and stunningly designed, the view is breathtaking, and the farm experience was absolutely amazing, especially for kids. Daniel was so kind, sharing stories about the place and being there for anything we needed. He took us on a tour around the farm and made it an immersive experience. Our three-year-old was over the moon—feeding the animals, riding a kid-friendly tractor, wearing boots provided by the farm, and becoming a little farmer for the day. Every morning, fresh bread was left by our door, and the fridge was stocked with fresh eggs, organic oranges, and apples. They even thoughtfully provided vegan options upon my request.

This was a very unusual and memorable experience. The conversion of the historic monastery into a luxury hotel is beautiful. Our room was excellent and incredibly comfortable, and both the spa and the pool facilities were top-notch. The staff was exceptionally helpful and welcoming throughout our entire stay. Additionally, the hotel restaurant was excellent—we had dinner there and it was absolutely delicious. Everything about this stay was fantastic.

This is a beautiful, secure and well-designed property. The hosts are warm and inviting. Attentive without ever invading your privacy. They made us feel so at home. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Stunningly beautiful area with lots to see and enjoy.

Very peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway! Everything was very clean, with fresh towels provided throughout the stay and clean, comfortable bedding. There is a kettle with coffee and tea sachets provided, which was appreciated for a quick morning boost, and also a TV with a variety of channels in both Portuguese and English. The pool was certainly a bonus to cool off from the heat and also just relax for the day. :) My fiancée and I stayed for 10 days, and Casa das Bocelinhas definitely made this stay enjoyable and calming.
