I like the view of the garden and the mountain. The room was clean and has a timeless design, an eye for detail. Very friendly staff and relaxed location. A great way to enjoy the view was by sitting on the balcony.

The hotel was really accommodating when we had to change our dates. The staff, when we arrived were excellent, easy check-in. Room was clean, great size with a lovely balcony (bonus round). Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. Breakfast was very good, lots of fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, eggs. The location was perfect for a central point in Arouca, we were able to access the hiking points we wanted to get to. Would definitely recommend

The views from the hotel rooms are absolutely breathtaking, nestled in a valley between two hillsides. The lush vegetation and the soothing sound of the nearby river create a wonderfully relaxing ambiance, perfect for rejuvenating your energy. On hot summer days, the hotel provides a refreshing saltwater pool for guests to cool off. For those seeking a more "natural" experience, the nearby Paiva river is just a short five-minute walk away and offers an excellent spot for a swim. what a great place if you like to walk, discover nature as much as geological sites and points of interest; there is a wide range of trails of diferents grades, contents etc. If you're vegetarian it's a bit difficult at first sight, but l could enjoy some wonderful dishes: at Assembleia, Tasquinha at the main park and Barbelha (had one of the best Risotto ever)

Strangely the suspension bridge which is probably meant as a tourist attraction is quite challenging to find and visit. One needs an online registration to visit, but even to find/access it is a challenge on its own. Seems that no all locals are happy with that tourist attraction :)

Went to Arouca soley for the suspension bridge and Paiva walkways hike. Our acccomodation was very pleasant located behind the main and quiet and private looking onto the garden. All was very tasteful and comfortable inside our small "studio".

The 516 Arouca bridge draw our attention but the breathtaking views made us fall in love with the place. The river, the waterfall, the rocks and the cork oaks. Swim in the river at the parking was amazing. Please know that you should arrive 40 or 20 minutes before the time listed on your ticket, maybe even earlier - they will not tell you that and then it is your fault that you missed your guided walk on the amazing bridge.

Arouca is an interesting town with great scenery on the doorstep. It is a good base from which to explore the geopark and to do the 516 suspension bridge experience. Local restaurants and bars are very good value and there is a genuine feel about the place that this is the real Portugal.

Great pleasant town to use as a base for surprising variety...

Great pleasant town to use as a base for surprising variety of walks or swims or river activities in the area. In this area trails are marked out very well for off-road walks with great views and through lovely hamlets. The town itself also houses a variety of museums, supermarkets, shops, and places to drink and eat local treats.

Casa do Pinto is ideally located in the serra de Arouca, conveniently close to the passadiços and several praias fluviais. It has a large pleasant garden offering enough shade to enjoy it even when it's very hot. And the swimming pool makes it all the better! Inside, there are plenty if rooms and plenty of bathrooms, ideal for a large group like ours. The inside is also cool during the warm summer days, so we could rest in the coolness when needed. The owners were very available and answered all our needs

The house is located just a few minutes from Arouca city center, with a lovely garden and pool. Our room was spacious and had all the comforts we needed. We were happy that we could bring our dog with us. Also, Andriano is a great honey producer and showed us how he makes his own honey. Highly recommended stay!

I really like this Hotel everything was just great. It was clean Big shower Decent bed A.C worked fine Parking for my car Good breakfast And for me the highlight was the Frencha da Mizarela waterfall close by. I recommend planning ahead and make a trip to the waterfall valley.
