Location is beautiful. The owners are very nice and welcoming. The room is beautiful, with natural dark wood. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable. Very good breakfast. Place to charge my car. Great pool, amongst the greenery.

good location, minutes' walk away from town centre own parking a big plus, as lots of visitors to convent rather basic breakfast but does the job great staff special thank you to the restaurant who crape me for a room with a balcony when window didn't open and delivered lunch to my room in matter of minutes

The views from the hotel rooms are absolutely breathtaking, nestled in a valley between two hillsides. The lush vegetation and the soothing sound of the nearby river create a wonderfully relaxing ambiance, perfect for rejuvenating your energy. On hot summer days, the hotel provides a refreshing saltwater pool for guests to cool off. For those seeking a more "natural" experience, the nearby Paiva river is just a short five-minute walk away and offers an excellent spot for a swim. While the hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, they do offer a convenient "home delivery" service, allowing guests to order typical Portuguese cuisine dishes from a nearby restaurant and have them delivered right to their doorsteps. what a great place if you like to walk, discover nature as much as geological sites and points of interest; there is a wide range of trails of diferents grades, contents etc. If you're vegetarian it's a bit difficult at first sight, but l could enjoy some wonderful dishes: at Assembleia, Tasquinha at the main park and Barbelha (had one of the best Risotto ever)

Strangely the suspension bridge which is probably meant as a tourist attraction is quite challenging to find and visit. One needs an online registration to visit, but even to find/access it is a challenge on its own. Seems that no all locals are happy with that tourist attraction :)

Went to Arouca soley for the suspension bridge and Paiva walkways hike. Our acccomodation was very pleasant located behind the main and quiet and private looking onto the garden. All was very tasteful and comfortable inside our small "studio".

The 516 Arouca bridge draw our attention but the breathtaking views made us fall in love with the place. The river, the waterfall, the rocks and the cork oaks. Swim in the river at the parking was amazing. Please know that you should arrive 40 or 20 minutes before the time listed on your ticket, maybe even earlier - they will not tell you that and then it is your fault that you missed your guided walk on the amazing bridge.

Arouca is an interesting town with great scenery on the doorstep. It is a good base from which to explore the geopark and to do the 516 suspension bridge experience. Local restaurants and bars are very good value and there is a genuine feel about the place that this is the real Portugal.

Great pleasant town to use as a base for surprising variety...

Great pleasant town to use as a base for surprising variety of walks or swims or river activities in the area. In this area trails are marked out very well for off-road walks with great views and through lovely hamlets. The town itself also houses a variety of museums, supermarkets, shops, and places to drink and eat local treats.

A haven of peace and tranquility. The rooms are very comfortable and everything is very clean and tidy. The lady owner was very nice and had even baked a cake for us on arrival. The property also has a balcony with fabulous views. It is in the perfect location for visiting the Arouca 516 suspension bridge. Would not hesitate to return.

Very good place to spend the night, if you want to travel to the Arouca Bridge, (20min). Everything in good condition and the room was spotless. The bigest shower stall i ever had the pleasure to use. I liked it that you can watch Netflix on your TV
