The location is perfect because it's very central and close to the downtown area. The room was huge, lots of space, couches to sit on, a desk to work at, a fridge, and slippers. The breakfast was incredible; I've never seen so much food of such high quality! One note was the late checkout, this is great and allowed us to go out in the morning, come back to pack and not have to rush anything!

This is a cute town great for walking, sightseeing, and local shopping. It had pretty buildings,, very nice people and easy to navigate. We even walked to a college one evening to watch a soccer game on a big TV with lots of people. If felt very safe. We were a multi-generational family of five and we all loved the feel of the city and the food. The town has some beautiful trees with purple flowers that I had never seen before.

Aveiro is Portugals Venice.

Aveiro is Portugals Venice. You can ride on the boats along the canal, enjoy portuguese cuisine, prices are above average in some restaurants. Be prepared for lots of walking. Getting around Aveiro is very easy. Either walk, taxi, drive, bus, but the best way is walk.

All the nature all around and the accessibility to it.

All the nature all around and the accessibility to it. The town has free boardwalks and bikes you can use. It is a nice smaller town feel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend doing a free walking tour your first day there. It will give you your bearings and orientation and suggested things to do and how to do them.

Enjoyed walking around and drinking and eating beside the canals. Also visited Costa Nova with its old candy cane coloured house and wonderful board walks through the sand dunes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean

The city surprised me with its beauty and the welcoming...

The city surprised me with its beauty and the welcoming nature of its residents, who are extremely friendly and attentive. The moliceiros (traditional boats) are gorgeous and make the visit even better. The cafes and restaurants have quality food at affordable prices, and getting around the city is super simple and safe.

Aveiro, the "Venice of Portugal" is lovely with its canals and pretty boats you can hire to take a cruise on several canals, with friendly guides. City center is busy and lots of interesting architecture along streets and along the canals. I only had part of an afternoon (dedicated to a boat/canal tour) and a night and the next morning, and had the weather been warmer and drier, I would have loved to have walked around in more of the city, and visit a few museums and step inside churches. Did find several interesting shops to browse through some things and some other shops where I bought items for my home. Wish I had had more time to see the city and the natural beach preserve... ahh, but that'll have to wait for another trip in summer.

Everything was just perfect. We got a spacious and nicely furnished clean room in the center of Aveiro. The guesthouse as well as the common areas like kitchen and outside patio are very clean, tidy and well kept. The bed was really confortable, the wifi reliable and the bathroom spotless. The place is on the main street, but hardly any noise gets inside. Check out at 12 is also a welcome plus.

Lovely, modern and very clean studio in a quiet area of the city of Aveiro. Everything you might need is available. Security lock on the door. 2 big supermarkets nearby. Free parking on the street but privat parking included in the rental. In 10 minutes walking you will reach the charming center of Aveiro with lots of nice restaurants. Host with a pleasent communication.

I spent one full week in the apartment with my family. It wasn’t my first in Aveiro, but the stay was really nice. The apartment is very large, comfortable up to 6 people and with large spaces. The double bathroom is exceptional. The location is central and all the main attractions of the city center are located in a radius of 5/10 mins by walk.
