Casa Branca Holiday Resort is a first class place to stay. The accommodation is spacious, clean and well decorated, and the outside areas (both private and communal) are well-kept and make for a lovely relaxing holiday. The pool is great and a welcome relief when the temperature hits the high 30s!! The hosts Claudia and Ingo are very welcoming, giving us a full tour of the resort when we arrived.

The location was the only thing we didn’t like. It’s really in the middle of nowhere. Very peaceful and would be lovely if we went for that kind of holiday but otherwise it’s not very close to any shops restaurants etc and if u stay here I would highly recommend a car. The views are so beautiful though and the property itself is immaculate

This quinta is a very special place. It's location is excellent, in the mountains inland from the Algarve coast (about a 20-45 minute drive from many of the main coastal towns and a great base for exploring them). It is an agrotourism and farm-to-table property, in that they grow the produce on the farm and serve it in the full-service restaurant on the property - including the delicious jams they serve for breakfast. Breakfast was delicious - included freshly baked items, yogurt and fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes made to order. The rooms were upgraded and modern, yet in keeping with the simplicity of the farm setting and preserving elements of the original property. There a many hiking trails, and a pool, and simply beautiful landscape to enjoy. One couple with a baby was staying there for a month, and I can see why. The farm has been in the family for generations, and the owner hosts a farm tour on a tractor and wagon twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) in which he explains the history of the farm and their regenerative farming practices. It can be pretty dark on the roads driving back at night. We had no issue with this and found it adventurous, but could be tricky if you're arriving for the first time at night or don't like driving where there are no street lights.

Stayed here for 1 night, there were few other cyclists in the hotel. The price was great and breakfast was included, check in took 1 minute, and there are plenty of parking spots. The hotel is quite small and new. It has all facilities needed - good wi-fi, hair dryer, tv, hot shower, air conditioning (with heating option), nice beds, TV, multiple lamps. The restaurant is amazing, in my case breakfast was included and was great too - orange juice, coffee, some bread, butter, fig and strawberry jams, jambon, cheese, meet, an apple, an orange and banana. There is also a nice garden with flowers and a swimming pool in the backyard Definitely recommend!
