From the welcome drink and freezing cold flannel on arrival after the long drive from Chiang Mai, this garden resort whispers discreet luxury. I had a gorgeous hut with lounge terrace offering complimentary fruit, soft lighting, personalised welcome notes, fly spray and mosquito cream, torch and umbrellas, and many other of those tiny but telling detail - ties on the soft towels, delicately covered water bottles - the list is long. Resort Manager Phouwanart Khamthong is an alumni of the Shangri-la in Bangkok; his charm and attention to detail imbues the establishment, from its superbly trained staff to its perfectly kept lush gardens, fish pools, relaxing swimming pool area and fine breakfast. The staff are wonderfully attentive, in particular Bay at reception provided professional smiling assistance at every step.

The location is perfect - just out of the main town so quieter but still close enough to walk and they provided free shuttles to/from town. The staff were amazing - so lovely and kind and couldn’t do more to help. The food - incredible food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, really high quality and different to standard Thai places, very popular with residents too. The bar - amazing staff and drinks. The room - perfect and clean, wouldn’t change a thing. The overall hotel is beautiful, great setting and well maintained. Every detail of the hotel has been thought about.

The best place to stay in Pai by far. We extended our stay because we had such a great time. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave us a ton of recommendations, and they thought of everything when designing the house. It's comfortable and cozy, has the highest quality furnishings, and we slept so well every night. We came to explore and to work so the wifi was strong and the house had everything, so we stayed comfortable for several days. We stayed in many places in and around Pai, this is the best place by far. It is close to town but still has the quietness that you would want from nature. The pool and bathtubs were pampering, bedding was perfect, kitchen was well stocked including lots of stuff in the fridge when we arrived, easy to checkin, and anything we needed we had at our disposal. They even have a bread guy! I won't spoil all the surprises the hosts offer here but it was magical and we were so happy to enjoy the good life here. Absolutely great value.
