The design of the house is appealing and cute, the hotspring water in our private bath tub was very nourishing after a long day hiking and sightseeing. Its even easy to walk to the river from the house. Its a very quiet surroundings. The house is abt 7km from town so its a plus to have your own transport although taxi service works great. Next door is the pai water temple with lots of healing opportunities/events and private watsu sessions. The garden is still growing but nice to sit outside where thereis also outdoor tubs to fill in an hour with fresh hotspring water at body temperature. The communal kitchen is spacious with all we needed for simple meals and there is a few restaurants and local shops on walking distance. Good value and a unique location for taking a break of traveling

The sweeping mountain view, would definitely recommend taking a photo from the rooftop after a storm. Living with the farm experience, being woken to the sound of the roosters and hen's is a nice change from the sound of traffic. The villa was a perfect location, a short was walk from town, but not too far to miss on the action.

Pai is a large town, but the main 'strip' with the bars and restaurants is small and easy to explore, close to the river and very friendly. Pai Canyon is a bit over-rated and stuffed with tourists at sunset, but use Pai as a base to drive up to Lod Caves, a breath-taking Indiana Jones sort of experience (in the dry season), exploring three (dry season), enormous caves with ancient burial sites, weird rock features and a mix of wildlife that varies with the seasons, a stunning landscape. Access only with local guides. Be sure to stop by Café Bar 124 just a little further up the breath-taking hair-pin road (1095) for quality authentic Thai cuisine in a kind of French-style setting. Just awesome.

Pai and area was very beautiful.

Pai and area was very beautiful. After already spending one week in Northern Thailand I was enjoying the culture and thai food. I was disappointed in the amount of tourists in Pai and the number of restaurants with western food. It was difficult to find an authentic Thai restaurant as they were not as plentiful as other places. I did enjoy the morning market with outdoor seating and a hot bowl of congee to start my day. For anyone wanting to experience authentic Thailand, the village of Pai is not the place but there are lots of things to do outside the village.

I live in Chiang Mai and have made many trips to Pai, some long and some short. It's easy to get to from Chiang Mai (about three hours in a minivan) but try to get a seat towards the front and middle if you suffer from travel sickness because the road there is full of twists and turns. For short stays Pai is a small wonderland – especially if you have your own transport (scooter or bicycle) that can be hired. There are numerous hot springs to soak in, a canyon to explore, viewpoints near and far that are excellent for sunrises and sunsets, and every night the main street through town becomes a Walking Street, lined on both sides with food, clothing and souvenir stands. A minimum three night stay with morning arrival and late afternoon departure is recommended.

I love Pai and have visited many times.

I love Pai and have visited many times. My favourite restaurants are Om Garden Cafe and Charlie and Lek's. I walked everywhere as I don't ride a scooter. Walking Street is always entertaining and I always feel safe. Best of all are the beautiful people of Pai who are friendly and gracious and always willing to help. For out of town tours, I used Pai Authentic Travel who are located next to Aya bus service on Walking Street. The Two Huts sunset tour and Pai Canyon are good short tours but they do many others further out of town.

Pai is the Gem of the North, a mix of great food, very kind Thai people, lots of cool spaces to motorbike to, lots to do, lush jungle forest everywhere..many very cool places to stay..so don't stay in one place..move around and see the awesome places to hang out. Elephants, River rafting, great food experiences..very very nice. 3 hours by mini van to Pai from Chiang Mai..I recommend AYA minivan service, way better than the ones at the bus station...same price..way better service and vans.

Best place in Pai!!!! Great value for money and super comfortable. Such a kind family, kind host and cleaners. They are very helpful and generous. Quiet but still central location. Big and beautiful bongalow, private with sitting areas and the most comfortable bed I have had in Thailand. They put great thought in every detail. Amazing big breakfast with great options. Free laundry. I always come back there while in Pai. I was there around a month overall and would stay longer if possible. Thank you!
