Overall, I loved my stay at the lazy lion. The room and the view were amazing. The room was large and had a refrigerator, plenty of water to drink, and a hairdryer. The room was also very clean. The couple who owns the guest house are very nice people and make a big effort to talk to all of the guests. The breakfast was really big and healthy. I really enjoyed all of the food and drink offered. The couple offered lots of advice on good things to do and even offered to loan equipment (like fishing rods) to some of the guests. I thought this showed they really care and are good hosts.

What an amazing location. The most beautiful spot in Knysna. You have beautiful views of the ocean and the lagoon. Breakfast was included and on site and was absolutely delicious. While having breakfast and overlooking the lagoon we planned our day with the help of Lana, the most wonderful and gracious host - before we knew it she assisted us with making a booking on the most amazing catamaran experience which goes through the entry way between the heads. I am in two minds about giving feedback on the room because I would love nothing more than to gatekeep it forever but omg! You must book the deluxe executive room the one that overlooks the entry point where ocean meets lagoon it is absolutely breathtaking. Thank you so much to Lana and the ladies for making our stay so memorable! We will definitely be back! We miss you all like you are family! Special shootout to "liefie" the doggo who was the hostest with the mostest for sure!

This was our second stay at Pierre's. We were there in 2022 and loved our experience at Pierre's and in Knysna. This trip did not disappoint. We love the breakfasts, the Nespresso maker in the room, and the free bikes. Pierre and his wife make you feel totally at home. We even used the air fryer to heat up pies from a farmstall. The location is perfect, there is nothing I like more than biking around Leisure Island. The wildlife reserve is very close to Chez Pierre's and wonderful to walk on. Don't miss the sunsets from the reserve. We enjoyed dining at Il de Pain two times and also at Pizza y Vino (loved the food and views)! Thanks, Pierre. We will be back.

One on Bollard is more than a home away from home. It’s the beautifully decorated and very comfortably furnished home of Diane and Rob who are the most welcoming hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They have made every effort to ensure guests are not only comfortable in their home but in Knysna. They offered great advice on places to visit and things to do. Our room was very comfortable and large with a lovely private garden. Their home is on leisure island which is lovely area with beautiful homes and very nice beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love the opportunity to return. Thank you, Diane and Rob for your very kind hospitality.

Staff very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious with the best view. View from our room and terrace for morning coffee was exceptional as well. Location is impressive. Safe area with gated parking. Parking lot can be a bit tight but it is alright.

Super clean and beautifull rooms with a nice view of the garden. The view from the outdoor swimming pool is amazing but unfortunetely it was too cold to swim outside. They do have an indoor heated swimming pool as well so that is very nice. The african aromatic massage was really relaxing and good. The breakfast was very good as well as lunch and dinner.

Pezula likely offers best views in Knyssna. The staff, from front desk, spa restaurants are just wonderful and very accommodating. Our 5-year old daughter was offered a massage in a spa which was the highlight of her holidays. The outdoor swimming pool and rooms are excellent. Highly recommend.
